Do you know anyone with this medical condition?

Hello everyone! Renfield's syndrom is a mental disorder and it is a compulsive need to drink blood. In the history some of the most famous serial killers were suffering from this condition. When i first read about it I thought of only one famous historical person -Elizabeth Batory. This condition is very rare, but have you met someone who has it? What do you think of it ?

No i have never met anyone who suffers from this disease! There are some messed up people on this earth and although i have never heard of this particular mental disorder i do understand how the can compel you to do things that are extremely out of the ordinary in reality. Some things cannot be explained to the sane mind. This idea makes me sick to my stomach. I would hate to think i have met someone who drinks blood... real life vampires? You would think it would make you sick.
That's straight out the movies i'm sure. Where do people get these ideas? Especially if there is multiples people doing it. Enough to have a name for the disorder.
