Just try to look at it and say every thing happens for a reason and try to look at the lesson you can learn from it. Life is all about learning and the experiences we go through teach us about who we are. Sometimes we can't always see the lesson at the time and sometimes we need time to process things that happened and that might take years. One day you will look back on the past and you might see it more clearly but it takes time. Try not to dwell on the negative but turn it around and think that what you went through made you a better, stronger person. Like the saying goes what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

It depends. If it's just something someone said, I think the hurt can vanish over time, a few days. If it's something deeper, it can take longer. From my experience. There are many things I can think about which cause me a lot of pain. But the good news is....each morning brings new hope, for change, for better things. And no matter how bad a memory is...it won't always be there. There are always times you will be free of this memory. This is what I have found. As long as there is life, time, there is hope, of change, of healing.

Earn the lesson and move on. You can really never forget what has happened especially if it is bad but just try not to think of it. And learn from it.
