I think that best discover was transistor. Because everyhing that have energy use it. computers, mobile phone, television, every technology.. So basically everything useful for us nowadays use transistor.

I think the best discovery is that we have not discovered much of the earth yet. It amazes us on how beautiful the earth was made and how complicated it could be for humans like us. ;)
