Is this DSiWare game cancelled?

I've been looking forward to this game since it was announced, and little did I realize that it's been two years now. Apparently their publisher inconsiderately "screwed" them over, and now they need a new developer. Or something. And here I've been staving off spending my DSiWare points because I thought an AR game about ghost hunting would have been a nice little lark, albeit an expensive one. When corporations abandon projects so shamefully, the end users like us have no choice but to move on; there are better environments to dwell in than the desert, to be sure. In other news, The Hidden seems to be a similar game for the 3DS which is suspiciously adopted by Majesco, which I was under the impression abandoned the DSiWare game Ghostwire. With limited refunds, I can't imagine purchasing too much in the realm of DSware in the future.
