How is this game?

I'm in all likelihood about to purchase The Lost Town - The Dust on DSiWare. Moving to the 3DS, I've got to use up my DSiWare points. This quaint little game looks like a zombified Gauntlet sort of title. Too bad no multiplayer, but then I never have anybody to multiplay with. I just wish the developers behind video games would make better use of the WiFi network. I'm recalling that Gauntlet for the DS was cancelled way back when (pitiful, no more handheld Jackal magic gameplay for us), so hopefully this shall fill the void. Anybody else have any thoughts on this game thus far?
