Brain ceased to function...

There are times when i just have a lot of topics on my head to write here in this wonderful site but there are times just like right now, when my brain freezes and ceased to function.
Have i run out of something to talk about or I'm just being lazy again having reached the minimum payout?
I want to discuss something worth my friends' time and not just for the sake of earning.
Have you ever had this concern before?

Oh goodness happens to me all the time, on and off Mylot!
Brain freeze, writers block, my brain just draws a blank as my mother used t say.
I just take a brake, do something different for a while. Maybe do a chore or surf the internet then before you know it I'm back to work and up and running again.

Generally I do not start many therefore, I don't really think up a lot of topics. What I find useful is, if this happens maybe responding to others discussions might spark up something you would like to discuss.
Sometimes we are simply not in the mood, so a break away for a bit does help too. Yes I am like you as well, though I am very active, if I can't provide useful and helpful information, then I can't respond to discussions.
I do hope it picks up for you, as sometimes after flipping through a few pages you may just get inspired.

I agree. Sometimes responding to other discussions would suddenly give us new ideas to start our own. Have a great day!

OH that's too bad. Yes sometimes it does happen to me when all the discussions are quite similar and i have nothing to share.

I have also had such occasions. I use to take rest - take a nap and then come again and start typing afresh . relax. have a good day.

It happens with me always.whenever i think its a amazing topic or discuss to do,then my mind go blank.hands are on keyboard but mind freeze.i couldn.t get any idea what to do.then i just leav the computer and try to do somthing else.and it is happening from the time i joined mylot.
I think i should write that topic at paper or anywhere when it arise in mind.so when mind stop working,i can refresh by it.may be it works?try it.

I agree with you. I guess from now I have to keep a mylot note or write it down on my iPad.

This has been happening to me since I joined this site! It seems my quality questions flee the moment the MyLot logo comes into sight. All I can pump out is incredibly nerdy topics.
If your comment account is any indication, this looks like it may just be a spell for you rather than a permanent problem. Good luck and speed with your next question!

Thanks. Probably just one of those spells. All I need is just a little break.

It can also happen when the brain gets too tired. It happens to me once in a while too. That's the time one needs to give a break to the brain, just relax and take a rest. Find the favorite way for it.

Yes! Incentives do a lot to move people and the myLot payout is a big incentive to push you from posting or not. I do believe it does affects the motivation of people in here to post. I also encounter such feeling of like my brain refuse to work. Having responded many times on different kinds of topics is rather draining, especially if you are really eager to respond with a quality one. Just rest your brain a little and after sometime you'll get your mood to think and act on it back again.

Yes and I think it is very normal. Maybe your tired. Have time to relax. Don't abused yourself for the sake of earning money. This topic is good, don't worry.
