Do you feel scary if see reptiles????

i am scared of them like even lizards hehehe oh i hate lizards so much. but when i visit the zoo and places like that, as long as they are in cages then i am not as scared. same goes to all the animals in the zoo but some small fluffy animals, i find them cute, i can imagine myself carrying them hehehehe

Hi sjvg You are not alone as I too see them on TV and it gets creepy. lol I think because we sort of envision them in real life and somehow feel that it is scary. I am one who can see a spider and or creepy crawler of any sort and will jump up in an instant by the though it will peck at me. lol I think as with many some do feel scared while others don't. Each time I am creeped out my boyfriend doe snot even feel a thing. lol

hello sjvg, I guess we fear of different thing/s and it just happen that you have fears with reptiles. I don't feel scared when i saw those creatures in tv or in zoo..but of course I won't dare seeing those in open and coming to my direction either (ehhhhhhh) I fear of cockroach..not that scary flying thing,it will surely give me a scream seeing one. for me, reptiles are amazing animals yet oftentimes misunderstood. other reptiles don't cause harm and other like snakes doesn't pose any threat if not threatened.

I think one should love the nature and all the nature creature. Important thing is to understand them, and act accordingly. TV channels show them to make us more aware about them so that we can act accordingly if they meet us in the real life. I have to be cautious with such creatures. Thanks and have a nice day.

yepp I am really scared of reptiles. But I don't get that scared while watching them on TVs and movies but if i see them in real life, the first thing I do is run. Even in zoos they scare the hell out of me. I haven't been to zoos in a long time actually

I don't. I think reptiles are very beautiful and fascinating.

I have only ever seen snakes in real life wild animal... and lizards but to be honest they creep me out nearly as much but i know they cant hurt me they just give me the shivers. My friend had a pet green tree frog which was great i am not scared of this cute style reptile! I live in Australia, and the snakes are quite common here, very dangerous snakes too like the brown snake and red bellied black snake. lol funny names, not so funny reptiles. Very deadly. When i seen one and i was by myself i ran as fast as i could and got out of there! but they say that some snakes like the tiger snake will give chase.

Most reptiles do not really bother me, although I do not have any as pets or anything. However, I hate snakes with a passion. There aren’t many things in this world that I am actually scared of, but a snake is one of them. I don’t really know why I am scared of them, but I cannot overcome my fear…

I don't feel scarred when I see reptiles on Tv,I find some lizards funny,and I love watching images with Komodo dragons,but only on TV.If I saw a reptile and especially a snake in reality and free,I would run faster than the speed of light!Luckily,in my country the chances of having an unexpected encounter with a reptile are small,but if you go to certain areas in nature you might meet a viper,so the danger exists here too.I suppose this may be called a phobia,although I have some doubts about it because I think it's normal for people to be scarred of creatures that might easily kill them,I consider that those who handle snakes like toys are a little insane.

I'm just afraid of this creatures if it's in actual . If it's on TV i don't worry at all. It's okay to feel that way for everyone of us has it's phobias. Try to watch it often , for always exposure can make you get use to it and will not be afraid to it in the long run. Just try. It's just on the mind. :)

It varies with me. Lizards don't bother me. I find chameleons fascinating. However snakes and crocodiles give me the shivers! Some tips? Well when it comes to the TV ones, remember that the reptiles are probably at least 2,000 miles away. For example, if you lived on the western coast of the United States, and the program involves the Everglades in Florida, you could safely conclude that there is no way in heaven those reptiles could ever reach you. Also remember the reptiles are just images on a screen - it is physically impossible for them to jump out and bite you. However, if the show starts the show the reptiles eating, change the channel. Watching them eat will only make your phobia worse. Identify what it is about reptiles that makes your skin crawl. Once you know what the trigger is, try to distract yourself with the other characteristics of the reptile. Let's say for example it is the teeth of reptiles that gives you the chills. Instead of focusing on the teeth, think of the reptile's other qualities. For example, chameleons change color. Cool, right? And not very scary. My only tip for seeing reptiles in person is to practice "no touch" and run. Not very helpful though for getting over the phobia.

I don't feel scared when I see a reptile. I even watched programs in television talking about them. I love the way they are created. ^_^

i dont like reptiles... Infact last night i had a dream wherein a hundred centipedes were crawling in a circle around me.. thats coz yesterday night i saw a freak of a centipede in my toilet.. Killed it without remorse.. Then drained the remains.. Why cant they just keep out of my house in the jungle where they belong.. Huh

Definitely! There are 2 things in this world than I'm really scared about and brings chills up my spine -- reptiles and vermin! Eeewww!
