Hello Lotters, So, I was walking instead of taking the Jeepney or any Public Utility Vehicle because of what I've mentioned in the last discussion. at the same time, It was the only moment and chance that i have to go to church and talked to GOD..for a short time. Though, I know i should have stayed more but i had to go home because of other things to do. With the prayers, it's not the memorized ones. I had more thanks and asking for forgiveness for being absent to his home ever Sunday almost through out the whole year. I DON't KNOW REALLY what made me stop praying and going to church. probably because I prefer to go to church ALONE that i didn't want anyone else to come along. I don't really wanna talked about much Religion, Specially this because there's been so many discussions about it already. but I miss GOD. I miss the Christian that I was and my Quest for change for the better. Have a nice day PS:I'd probably go see the mechanic to see the progress of my bro's car. hope it's fixed.

sometimes we go through a period of dryness when we get disconnected with God. It's not that God disconnects with us but rather us disconnecting ourselves from him. In the dry period of our spiritual life it seems more clearer that we have no other person to run to but God and we do miss Him more. I hope the period of drought will be over and spring will come.

Hello candy, This is like a year, i had my moments when i was going to school, moments of dryness. but it's hard to believe that back in highschool that I used to attend and pray to the Lord every single morning in our school chapel i hope i can go back to the way i was, when i was still faithful and more determined to change

It also happened to me sometimes. I remember I was walking around Makati and this male in front of me walking too has his shirt printed "I miss you...from God". i was startled when I read it that I went straight to Greenbelt Church. And you know what, that was perfect, no one is there. Not even a single people are there. So I just sit there and look at the altar. Realizing its been a long time I have been in front of the Altar. Then I just think about something and I was answering it, then I start asking so many question only in mind.I am just sitting there talking to him and I felt good. i know he is with me during that time. I just feel calmed. I feel I was being hug and I feel okay. he makes me feel he is still there and he is calling me for a chat. Then I have this huge smile on my face when i left the church and it was like God is teasing me. I did have a great time sitting to there and being one with God.

I am not sure about this one, but me I have a feeling there is a right time to talk to God that he do response. it happens to me thrice, and the one i shared is the third time. That is the time you are ready and you can feel he listens.

Hi LK! It is a good thing that you spend a few minutes and talk to God. Sometimes, we missed those little things, but a big thing for Him. He does not demand us to talk to Him, but He is always there when we knock. That is one thing amazing about the Lord. Yes, it is better to tell Him what is totally in our mind and not the repeated prayers. Our faith is not something to debate on. Keep that up!

Hi again! I am very glad that you missed about Him. I used to be so religions, I was brought up with catholic practices, but when I was in College that started seeing myself questioning this and that. And then I realized later after being absent in church for many years, it is not about the religion that matters. I am more of the spiritual growth. Well, speaking directly to Him is best.

Hello maean, I know it's a big thing for him and i have missed a lot about him. to be honest it's not in my heart anymore to go to church, some sermons can be too much basic and some can be political. I agree and you're right our faith is something to be understand and not debated at but sometimes i question my own

Letran, that is awesome and that kind of prayer many people don't pray and yet are ones He wants to hear..It says to come in His courts with Thanksgiving and it sounds like you are on track,... Myself, I have turned away, because my husband is once again attacking my beliefs, I was even considering giving it all up and throw myself to the wind. I haven't, but I'm barely hanging on.. So, maybe next time you speak to G♥d, you can say a few words on my behalf..

That's okay letran, I have now found myself turning away, for the same reason most do, Hypocritical idiots, (not you, but people in my life off line) and so I am going to forget about God, since He seems to have forgotten me...

Hello Carmel, ok, no problem but am not a regular chatter. sometimes, it's not easy to talked when I am silent most of the time. so silent that i couldn't even make a silent prayer unless i put my guts into it. recently I've been more of a reluctant to come back, but i guess small steps are better than none. have a nice day

You know, this isn't just about going to church once a week or whatever. You don't need to miss God; He's with you everywhere, all the time. All you need to do is talk to Him. Church might not seem a big deal, but PRAYER definitely is. A friend once told me, try your best to pray to God ESPECIALLY when you don't feel like praying. Then He'll help you through bad times till soon talking to him everyday and feeling He's close to you all the time will become a way of life. If you know in your heart of hearts that you have a good relationship with God, really, church won't be what to worry about. (Don't get me wrong though, church is good :-)!

Hello Adede, What I mean I miss the way things i do asked help from him and the way the relationship used to be. I know the church isn't that bad much but some times there are times that i get annoyed even by attending. if i get annoyed i'd feel not right in going to the church. but of course, that's me

Having a little talk with Jesus will never lead you astray. Even when we find ourselves getting too busy, it is important to find the time. Good to see that you also took time to go to Church. If this is something that you are missing, why not take time to go there every Sunday again? You should never have to feel too prideful to attend church. Will be Praying for Gods direction for you.

Hi Letranknight, As I was reading your post, I've recognized that you're a filipino, am I right? I begin to wonder why you haven't go to church lately, well I'm here to encourage you that maybe that short chat with God is the starting point of your return to Him, in the first place God is just waiting for you patiently. Don't feel guilty anymore just let go of the past and move on, God does not count our shortcomings, You already belong to Him so why feel sad? I suggest that you start to visit your local church once again every sunday and if you have more time be plugged in a small group so that you could continue what God has started in you. Just be humble in your walk with God, you will always be accepted. Be available as well. God loves you! :)

Hello Becdmd, Maybe that's the reason why am feeling this way. i thought by not going to church i believe i would stay away from being a hipocrite since it's hard to be a real christian but some what worse situation now and my self esteem and self confidence had been damage.. maybe it's better off going to church when am alone

dear LK, Good to hear this from you. There is always reason for everything and right time also. Someday you will find the reason. Some people who never even knows or heard about GOD yet doing good things and not cheating or harming other people has goodness within, where GOD manifest in their hearts thu they don't know about GOD's commandments. So,don't keep asking why..as long as you still not doing wrong things. You will soon come to realization, you will feel it in your heart and you will find the answers. Just keep your faith and never stopped believing that there is unseen power that controls the universe.

Hello Jaiho, I don't know why it seems easy to just go there by walking every when i couldn't even do it. I have been experiencing short comings and less tolerance lately. but probably because i kept being bothered in mylot. . and that DAMN CAR!

Hi Letran Knight: I'm sorry toknow that you are feeling this faith crisis. In my opinion this can be good for you to make you moremature in what you beleive. Talk to God and also try to answer you what takes you to this state, why you stop going to your church. Maybe it was because you don't feel complete there or maybe there's something you need to do to enter in reconciliation with your beleifs. I invite you to keep communicating to God and also reading, talking and finding your answers. It's not bad that we have crisis, but it's up to us to know what to do in these cases. ALVARO

LetranKnight..God is also in your heart. If you gave him your heart then He will always be there. Try and get back to church once in awhile and talk with your Christian brothers and sisters. Don't just give up. God gives us the choice of the wide road and the narrow road. Sure the wide road is alot easier but the narrow road defines our comitment to what is right. Good luck in your journey.

Hello menace, Well, that happens sometimes. to be honest it's not as easy as you think it is. I don't know what to be talked about, it's just that the world is filled with society that choose to back stabbed you in the end. and I am getting tired of getting to these narrow roads, thanks anyways.

That is so good. Sometimes its better alone in going to a place called CHURCh coz definitely you can concentrate and you don't have much to hurry coz might your company has finish praying. Me i make sure i can go to the church once a week, except my regular Sunday mass coz really i have to attend. Its my obligation. Every once a week i visit a church to talk to God, same as you mostly i just thanked HIM and asked for forgiveness. I make sure also to lit a candle as guidance for those who are lost. And sometimes in the middle of the night i talked to HIM in any form of language, in this time i will express everything. When i week up its like a different me. Try it you would like it:-)
