Anywhere in the Philippines are experiencing floods. Luzon has been experiencing unfriendly typhoons from Ondoy up to date. Some area of the Philippines never had reported some flashfloods and are now experiencing too.
What had you done or what are the things that we need to contribute in order to save and preserve the beauty of Philippines and to revive some natural resources that might help us from poverty and this climate change?
Me personally, i want to start from home like recycling some plastics and if ever had the chance ill go for tree planting.

Hello igatiful. We are Filipinos and we live in the Philippines; hence, we should love our mother land. We can not avoid the fact that Philippines is in the Pacific Ring of Fire; thus, there are lots of earthquake and volcanic eruptions. We cannot also control the natural calamities, but we can still save our country from the destructing effects of these disasters. Like you, I start on my own by throwing my/ our garbage properly. Left-overs are being flashed in the toilet bowls (since we have no askal to eat the left-overs). Plastic containers, newspapers and tin cans are being sold to junkshop. If all Filipino will support the proper waste management, maybe we can save our country. :) By the way, during my elementary and high school days, I am one of the members of Earth Saver's Movement in our school. :)

Thanks igatiful. I also admire you for starting a discussion/ topic like this one. In one way or another, you are helping Filipinos to be aware of the destructive effects of disasters/ climate change. Then, by sharing our own experiences, we will be able to inspire others to do the same.... some sort of information dissemination or campaign to be a responsible citizen. With that, we may be able to save our mother land. :)

Ya some one has to remind us. I love Philippines. I've been promoting our country to some of my foreign friends. We have so many inviting and exciting place to visit. I myself is very eager to preserve to beauty of Philippines.

As I always say, it is in our own hands the survival our country and we can contribute a lot by knowing the right way of disposing our waste and garbage. We should also discourage those people building houses along the esteros as they are the one to blame for clogged esteros. If only we can know how to dispose garbage, recycle them and make things useful out of it, then we can really contribute to our country's survival.

In order to save the beauty of the Philippines is just by loving it, because if we will love it, we will not do anything that can harm on it.
We, Filipinos, must be thankful of what God has given to us, and He gave this country for us to preserve the beauty and be our pride.
Along side, government must take some actions also. :-)
