We basically have to wait a few minutes or hours before meeting a doctor or simply stay in the car while our parent or friend shop. Under such circumstances, I usually keep myself buy by reading magazines or playing games on my cell phone. What you do when you are waiting?

Whenever I'm waiting for time in general, I just pull up my phone and post here on myLot. It's just so time consuming I rarely notice the time pass by. Sometimes I forget that an hour or two had already passed by when I thought it was only minutes.

Yep. In a sense, you're not really wasting time. You're still making money while waiting for something or someone.

Yep, another answerer does the same. It is by far one of the best method to keep ourselves busy. Making money while waiting cannot override any other thing we want to do

Yep, I know. Waiting can be such a slow process that it makes 15 minutes look like an hour or two.

Not a bad idea! I need to get back into that habit and be a great example for my two little ones that this is good to do in a drs office.

In that situation I will be flipping through a magazine. I used to buy womens magazine and though I dun buy them anymore, I still love to flip through the beautiful clothes, accessories and anti wrinkling creams, when these magazines are available.
I cannot play games, because if I start I cannot stop and you will find me, instead cooking and cleaning, playing these games instead.
I have applied for some sessions where I will be in a steam room. Now thats where i am faced with the greatest challenge to kill time. What do you do in a steam room? Everything will be destroyed in there. But recently i found a way...thinking about making money..heheheheh

Thinking about the money is a great way to kill time. You are basically giving time to law of attraction here which actually is great. Money will instantly come to you by this.

I usually play with my smart phone as well. I check my mail, Facebook, stuff like that. But before I got my smart phone, I used to mostly read magazines!

I still read the magazine, but it can tedious at times especially if it has no good information in it
Smart phones are making things much easier. I guess I should switch to it now.

I usually bring a book when I know I'm going to be waiting on someone and read that for a while. If I didn't know (or I forgot)and I am in the car then I generally turn on the car radio to my favorite station and listen to music. If I forgot and I'm in a waiting room, I'll look to see if there's a newspaper there and play the crossword or sudoku in the back section. Sometimes, yes, I do read the old magazines they have sitting there.

I also listen to music in the car. And sometimes videotape my nails and other things with my phone. It kills time, but reading a book seems much better.

I often make lists of what I have to get done that day and sometimes just catch up with people. I just like the feeling of catching up on whatever needs to be done.

So is it like you text or just call people? I know it is a high time to do what you described here.

Hi! If you know that there is going to be a wait and the environment permits it, I think it's a great time to just catch up on whatever. Sometimes its a great time to catch up with my daughter because as much as I love my friends and love getting organized, sometimes we need a few minutes to just talk.
What do you do in drs offices?

I tend to always have a book in my purse, so when I need to wait for anything I can just read a book. I am constantly with my nose in a book. If I have my ipod I listen to some music or play games on my phone. But generally I read something, even a magazine.

I usually find it immensely boring waiting at the doctor's chamber. Not only for the wait, but due to the impatience and anxiety of getting to know what's wrong with me!!! But I usually have my mobile with me, so I can go through a few pages of the ebooks which I have downloaded. Or it can also be some movies in my sd card.

I know what you mean. I am not fond of waiting. It is annoying. But well, what can we do when we are forced to go through it? But reading or watching movies sound good. I guess I should also download an ebook so next time I can read them while waiting for something

Among the things that I hated is WAITING. Especially when I don’t have anything to do while I wait. That’s why I always bring a story book or magazine in my bag. I will get irritated to wait for someone even for five minutes.
I remember one day when I was waiting, I look at every car that passed by and add up their plat numbers...
Do you notice that when we are waiting while doing nothing, the time pass by so slowly...?

When I'm waiting I usually use my mobile phone and text my girl friends for me not to ger bored. And reading books, as what you're doing. :)

That sounds good. Phone seems to be saving everyone from boredom, but once I was caught by my doctor. When he came to call me in his office he saw me playing games on the phone. The next thing happens is that he tells me that these days he sees everyone gazing at the phone and that even his son does the same. He then starts saying how he hates technology.
