Stress is only in the mind. Try to put your mind over the matter. Also try breathing exercises. It helps circulate our fluids in the body thus ensuring good supply to fight off stress. The best thing still is prevention. Avoid stressful situations as much as possible. Include in your daily activities meditation. It is a nice way to fight off stress too. I hope this helps!
