In whats seemed to be an awesome prospect for Indian formula 1 lovers was the introduction on an Indian Grand Prix for this years formula 1 calendar. The Buddh International circuit is all set to have the first Indian race from the 28th till 30th of October later this year. Moreover the overwhelming fact that Narian Kartikeyan secured a race seat with the HRT race team and that an Indian race driver for the inaugral Indian grand Prix was just exciting. Also the presence of Force India owned by Dr. Vijay Mallya will also be another contributing factor for attracting race fans.
Only a fews days ago and a week before the British Grand Prix team HRT announced that it will be replacing Narian Kartikeyan with Daniel Ricciardo. The team also did not state whether Ricardo will be given the race seat for the entire season or just for a few races. Surely it will not do any good to Narian's confidence. Are Narian's dreams of racing infront of his home fans demolished? Well only time will tell and I just hope that Narian gets his race seat back. The team also said that Narian is still contracted to the team. What do you friends think about this..

I certainly hope it goes that way. As for now team HRT have only issed a statement that Daniel will be racing for the British Grand Prix. They have not commented on anything after the British Grand Prix. May be they will review his performance and then make a call whether he will get a few more races or not.
More importantly whatever they decide they should give Narian the race seat for the India Grand Prix at least. We all would love to watch him in the forst Indian race.
Karan Chandauk getting to race is very unlikely considering that the team already have experienced drivers like Trulli and Kovilenian. So very doubtful but he might get the chance to drive for the free practice one session. That surely will do his confodence a world of good. Lets hope for the best..
