A pleasant day fellow mylotters,
I was wondering why some do not know how to say thank you to others. Well, I mean, they find it hard to say and express that word. Wherein, expressing the word "thank you" is not that difficult.
Just like what I have witnessed in a bus. I was one of the passenger inside the bus then, and since it is a rush hour, everybody is rushing to get into their destination. Eventhough there are no seats available, some women still go inside the bus just to get into their destination on time. In short, when the bus left the terminal, a lot of women was standing. And I just heard one of the men said, the reason why there are no gentlemanan who will offer their seat to the standing ladies now a days is that, ladies does not know how to say thank you anymore.
And when I heard that, I just made a little response, maybe you are right, but still there are exceptions. Still there are ladies who says thank you. And I am proud to say, that I always do say thank you especially if somebody lend me a seat inside the bus, as this is the only way I can repay his kindness.

Thanks to those who still believe in me ...
And that still have patience.
Thanks to those who remain with me even when I drive away .... I
Thank those who help me to move on even if you do not deserve their help ..
Thanks to those who should enjoy when my life is turned upside down
But still, I am surprised when encourage me...
Thanks to those who hurt me today,
Tomorrow, they are the ones who strengthens me ...

I don't know why there are some people who don't thank others. I make it a point to say "Thank You" to others whenever I receive help. It doesn't matter if it's just a small gesture from them. I just think that it's the least thing that I can do for them.

Saying thank you i guess is a second nature for me. Little things done for me really matters a lot. Whatever good things and good deeds definitely deserves a thank you.

I myself won't agree with that guy coz i myself never forget to say thank you. I even teach that to my son. It is one way you appreciate some kindness with our fellows..

People are just not polite anymore...you are correct. Most are down right rude. They expect things, but do not give back. It is very sad. I am getting older and it is getting hard for me to open doors now. Several times I have opened a door and started entering a gas station store and had a young person push past me to get in or out first, sometime knocking the door out of my hands so that I had to re-open it. This is very irritating. They say nothing...it is their "right" to be first!

I think that some people think that the world revolves around them and that they are entitled to things. It is really frustrating to see people like that because it makes women like me look bad. I was taught at a young age to use manners. I still use them to this day and it is a great skill to have. I say please and thank you, usually with a smile, for a majority of the services that are rendered to me, whether I am in public or with family and/or friends. If I don't get a response like "you're welcome", I try to not let it bother me because I know I did a good thing.

Hi Airasheila!.
Its not really hard to say thank you to others, because I already teach to do it since I was child. My family already in retail business for 25 years and its really important to serve our customer well especially saying thank you after each transaction.
I life in eastern world and politeness is a must especially to the one who older me. I will always said thank you to any who serve me like taxi driver or just someone who help me parking the motorcycle. Its just simple word but I believe its will be a heart warmer to the one who receive it.
Have a nice day.
