Outer Banks of North Carolina

I live in North Carolina and we always go to the Outer Banks for summer vacation. We actually haven't been able to go for a few years and I'm looking forward to our vacation there in August, especially now that we have a one year old son. I'm excited about some of the things that have been added since I've last been there. Where do you like to visit when at the Outer Banks?

I have never visted the Outer Banks.It sounds like a fun and nice place to visit.Maybe I will try to take my children one day.
