Hi everyone. I really hate reporting, but have no choice! I hate it especially when I'm in the front of the class and suddenly I made a mistake then someone would laugh at me. I really wanted to scream when it happens! And I also hate drawing because I don't how to draw! In our Filipino subject, we need to memorize the story we've made by our own and mine is pretty long! And we need to draw something that connects with the story! The two most things I hate needs to be in one activity! :(( Any tips guys? Thanks a lot.

Hi Edsss, hmmmmm, what can I say??? LOL. I'm stuttering. LOL. Anyway, I want to quote this "No negating, just go with it" There are things that we ought to do, even if we don't want to do them, and just what are you writing about fortunately were included on those things. Reporting, I often have this what they call "stage fright" that, it's a weird feeling you feel when you're in front. Cold feet. You are sweating, even in an airconditioned Audio visual room, or even if you're just right in front of an electric fan. But I got over with it. Let me tell you a story. I have once been in a class of the so called "TERROR" teacher in the University I am in. And it's in his class that I got over the fright. Why? Because he made it clear. He wants a report coming from us, not from the textbook, because he too can read the books we've been using for the reports. He wants inputs, he wants what we think about "the thing" we're talking about. And I just do what he wants. I didn't get any grade higher than what I expected, but it was great to overcome my fear. Be confident, you're the one who studied well on the matter, you're the reporter so you can do it better than them. Trust yourself, be confident, do your part, and GOD will always be there for you. Drawing? Been struggling on it. So just do your best on it. It's better to have something to submit than nothing at all. And in everything you have to learn something. don't let anything pass without learning something from it. That's what education is --- learning. God bless. See ya. chuyins

Yes, face your fears. Take heart. Conquering them is more liberating than avoiding them. And I am telling you, if you do what you ought to do, then there's no reason why you can't make it. We believe in you, GOD doesn't make junk. He always makes the MASTERPIECE. And remember YOU ARE HIS CREATION. God bless. See ya. chuyins

Hi chuyins, You're response makes me a bit stronger! You're right.. I should face my fears! You know what, I've tried to drop this subject since I'm really afraid of this instructor! But well, the school didn't let me drop it since I'm a scholar! Well, got no choice but to do it! Hope can make it!

Hi Edz, I will draw for you, if you want.hehe.. Re: about Reporting be familiar with your topic. Since you are the one who made that story I guess, you already know the flow of the story.Nervousness is always there but if we know about that specific subject of what we are going to report everything will be fine. Be confident and tell them, hey guys, this is my work and I can do it. Never mind those classmate who will laugh at you. You can do it...What do I need to draw? lol...It's me...Te Lyn....

Hi there young fella, CONFIDENCE is the secret ingredient for a successful reporting, Memorize the topic by heart, so that it'll sound something that you know really well, Connect to them, have an eye to eye contact, like you were telling a good day to your mom. Don't be shy or be afraid of it, just be yourself. Then about the drawing thing, do your best, I am also not good in that but it is always good if you try and you are proud to show what you can. Okay? You'll have a long way with that. Goodluck.

Dear Friend the same thing is here I hate drawing because my drawing is not good and always I take the help of my sister about drawing. If someone is laugh me I never angry on them I think at least they laugh due to me otherwise they have no time for laughing so I am lucky.

I know how you feel. My daughter is also doing a lot of report every week and since she was always chosen to be the leader, she is the one preparing for all the reports to be made. I'm also stressed because of her, doing so many things yet short of time so I have to help her do it. Just be yourself and focus. Don't be shy, no one is perfect, you can do it.Good luck!

hi hey i haven't heard stuffs like you have to sit and memorize the story you have made on your own creativity ..... it sounds weird to me but still if its your own piece of writing i dont understand as to why it should be difficult for you to memorize it .. obviously unless it was copied from or inspired drastically from some other source you need not find any problems in understanding and remembering it to reproduce it again when asked .. but if you say your works are original and you still find it hard to remember them to write it down when asked to i would humbly suggest you to draw pictures by creating a link among your storyline or different situation popping up .. you could also use different colors to depict different situations for example if its somethings happy that has happened you could depict it with pink or green colour if it is something like an angry situation you could go in for a red colour .. if its a light situation you could opt for blue colour and so on . happy day

my lady, How I wish we're just neighbors and you will not have any more problem when it comes to drawing. But since you live miles away from me ,I can suggest one thing. Asks for someone to draw your visual aid ,I guess you knew someone who knew how to draw. About reporting or having speech, you need to practice it in front of a mirror and once you are in front of the class, pretend that your classmates and everyone in the classroom doesn't exists (hehehe) Pretend that you are just in front of your mirror and you having practice and you see only yourself. This works for me...thu,I am still having some stage freight, but it did work for me. I am sure you can make it too my dear, just be yourself,be confident. Made mistakes -so what, who's perfect when in comes to speech eh...you can check youtube where newscaster even stammer and made speech crunches too Keep smiling and be happy always my dear lady
