Have you ever got so wrapped up in a murder trial on TV to the point where you just have to stay home and see what is said next?
I got wrapped up in watching the Casey Anthony Trial and it's now drawing to a close.
I so would not want to be a member of that family.

Yes I watched that trial every day from morning to night. I watch live feed on my Laptop until it was shown live on HLN. Now I am absolutely sick with shock at the verdict.

I hadn't been keeping up with it, so I can't really make any comments on it. My mom has filled me in on some of it and I am just speechless. Just don't understand how or why something so horrible can happen specially to an innocent child. we are both grandmas and to think of something happening to one of ours. I don't know how I could handle it. Its such a sad sad heartbreaking story.

Yep, that's me! I was getting ready to go swimming when I saw on the TV screen that a verdict had been reached. In less than 30 minutes we'll be hearing what it is so I have to stay home until then.
I certainly agree, I wouldn't want to be in that family. It's just so sad and tragic and from watching the trial it's astounding how much of a difference there is between Casey and her parents and her brother. They all seem like emotional and sensitive people while Casey is a cold-blooded snake.

Yes Annie I agree and the snake walks free. I am so not happy about that. That poor little girl, may she rest in peace. Thank You my friend for your response and support.

And so amazing that she got off....I guess that goes to prove that they best lawyer wins and not necessarily that justice is done....hopefully since they found her not guilty somewhere along the line someone else will be found...that little angel deserves to have justice!

I haven't been watching it because I'm too busy to besides, it upsets me too much to be reminded that yet ANOTHER woman has killed her child. I can't have any kids so for these low life scum bags and that's putting it mildly, who kill their children shouldn't be able to walk the earth. I have a friend who's keeping a good eye on the case and that's ok with me for it's her thing but it's just not mine.

Well even if it's not your thing I want to thank you for your response and no doubt your friend who is following this will be as disgruntled as I am. This is not justice in my opinion it's plain unfair.

To be completely honest I was not wrapped up in this one. I was sad that the little girl was murdered, but I chose not to get wrapped up in the soap opera of the trial. I prefer to hear news after the fact (would rather hear the outcome of a baseball game than take the time to watch the game) than get stuck following some long drawn out process.

Thank You for your response. Yes I agree I think she is guilty and also a member of a very dysfunctional family. With the awareness, adoption agencies, foster families and family willing to care for the little girl in my opinion there is no excuse for what happened to that little girl.

So that's why you you've been absent...
I haven't heard anything about it, though, so don't know what's so riveting.

I haven't even paid any attention to it, but it is all so sad for the family, I have to agree with that.
