I have recently purchased a 1988 mk2 golf, he's my pride and joy. I have been working on restoring the car to it's former glory. I have managed to achieve a reasonable standard (bearing in mind this is my first project car). Do you have any advice or horror stories that I should bare in mind while I am restoring the car? Cheers
