A friend of mine sent this video link to me and I just had to share it with you all! Wow! I really enjoyed watching it and even saved it to my favorites to look at it from time to time when I need a boost. To see such patriotism is incredibly beautiful! Praise God and the men and women who fought for our country for the freedoms that we have!
Check it out folks and tell me what you think? Did it make you feel good too?

awwwww wow that was one great video. i am not an American but my boyfriend is so i just sent the video to him to show him.
America is one great country and citizens should be proud of it and take care of it, same goes to everyone in the world, be proud of your own country and your own race. i am proud of being a Filipino too.
God Bless us everyone! Cheers

So you and your boyfriend are in a long distance relationship? How in the world do you two make it work? That has to be really hard. My husband was in the Army and is still really good friends with a guy who is Filipino even though we're on opposite sides of the two coasts. They keep in touch right often which is really cool. Anyway, thanks for your kind words on the video! Did your boyfriend enjoy it?

yes my friend, we are in a long distance relationship and actually we will be celebrating our 7th anniversary this coming July 14th and yes i am very sad because we cant celebrate it together, maybe just on Skype or Yahoo Messenger? :( it is sad right to be away from the person you love.
he also wanted to be in the military, but he gave it up for me. he used to come home to me 2 times a year before but now he comes home once a year because of his job. sometimes i just tell him to not come home here anymore because taking him to the airport and seeing him leave again is the hardest but soon when every thing works out fine, i can go there to be with him :) but i just can't wait for that to happen already.
my friends ask me how i do it, i just tell them that when you love someone, the distance doesn't matter and exist anymore, but i admit it, it is not that easy :(
yeah he liked the video, thanks for sharing that my friend. anyway what's your name? my real name is cherish
oh so he has a Filipino friend too, that is very nice to hear that they still communicate with each other. who knows someday we can bump in to each other but not noticing each other hehehehe
take care friend and Happy Mylotting

Wow sweetie! 7 years? That's a long time especially for a long distance relationship! How in the world do you two make it work? I can imagine a lot of communication and a lot of love! Why haven't you two gotten married.... yet? If you two got married, you could be together as man and wife should be.
Glad he enjoyed the video! My name is Mary Beth and it's a pleasure meeting you! I've asked you to be on my friends list so please do accept! I wish you the best my friend!

That's kinda cool. My favourite are the flash mob things - there's an excellent one where people just stopped, frozen, in Grand Central station for a minute or two, then went back to normal. The best one was the Hallelujah Chorus in a shopping centre - beautiful. (That one's here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXh7JR9oKVE)

You've got me laughing my butt off at those videos! LOL Thanks for passing them on! The shocked looks on those unsuspecting customers and the looks on those bewildered people at the airport was really something! Thanks again! I really enjoyed them!

The original ones were GREAT but (like most things) they became a fad and everyone started doing it. Then it was just tacky and amateur.
The Hallelujah Chorus one's doubly brilliant because it's in the UK: all the initial looks of "Oh, a weirdo... well, let's just be polite and ignore her..." are classic.

Really? Why not? Is there a way that you can override it? It's not a bad link but a link to youtube on a video that this group of people go to this very busy hair salon and sing "God Bless America" as a surprise. Nobody expected it and you can see it in their faces but then they all join in. It's really inspiring!

I really don't know why. i think it's probably something the man i have work on my computer put on there but not sure.I know i would have liked it especially something to do w/a hair salon.

Loved it! We went to the fireworks the other night on Lake Washington in Minnesota here...we were on a boat watching. You tuned into a radio station and they did the fireworks in sync with the music...all patriotic country songs.....as we were leaving they played this song....God Bless the USA! Everyone on our boat was singing along....and you could hear everyone from all the boats singing together! It was awesome....and proved how much we all loved our country!

I knew you'd enjoy it! It's quite inspiring, isn't it? When I first saw it, I just kept saying 'Wow!' and then hubby came to see what I was seeing and he really liked it too and said that we should be allowed to continue with having 'God's name in everything' and I agree with him 100% and we Christians need to stand up for that because that is what God would want us to do. Not lay back and let the devil take over like he's doing.

That was cool! I am not American and yet I had goose bumps! I love the way everyone appeared to have a smile on their faces as the singing started after the initial surprise of course. I appreciate you sharing this link because it warms my heart to see folks love and appreciate their country. Hope you all had a wonderful 4th July!

Awwwww thanks paula! I'm glad to see so many being so open minded. I really am. It's meant to be inspiring and hopefully make others appreciate their own country and countrymen for helping make their country what it is.

Thanks Cats. That was inspiring. Though I am not american I appreciated the fervor exhibited by the participants. In spite of the time elapsed since the independence day the spirit is remarkable. We in India show similar kind of enthusiasm but we seem to have lost our way since our independence. We have to learn a lot from other nations United States of America in particular.

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it! Maybe if you mention this to your friends in your country that they'll want to pick up where it was left off and continue to praise your countrymen for having a free country. We all need to be reminded at some point in our lives so maybe this is your calling?
