Had enough on arrogant illegal immigrants

Hello peeps, I know this could be a very touchy subject but since this is about being myself, I am being MYSELF when I say that I am getting sick and tired of dealing with people who I'm positive (but not 100% sure) that are illegal immigrants particularly mexicans...In the job where I'm in, I see them running around with 4 or more kids and a cartful of foods which they're gonna pay with foodstamps (of that I am sure because I can see it with my own eyes) can't speak english (or refuses to!!!) and have these unsmiling arrogant look and with an attitude to match! And on one hand, I also see older white people who have paid their dues and worked all their life, forced to work on their old age because the GOVERNMENT keeps on using their funds to support these people...=(

I agree that it is ridiculoous. I hate what happened in Arizona. People getting called racist for wanting the laws to be enforced. It wasn't even a new law; it was just them deciding to enforce it. It is so ridiculous. I heard of some kids who got in trouble at school for wearing shirts with the American flag on them on "Cinco de Mayo" in protest. They didn't say anything to anyone. I don't think that they should've got in trouble, but the Vice Principal was hispanic and I truly believe that's why things went the way they did. They just wore the shirts. It was hispanics who actually got mad and caused the disturbance. I don't even understand the point of celebrating that. It's the independence of Mexico. If that worked out so well, why did they have to escape that place? It does irritate me that many do actually refuse to learn and speak English. I believe that it is disrespectful.

Cinco de mayo is not Independence Day in Mexico.. that's celebrated on September 16. Cinco de Mayo here in the US just celebrates Mexican Heritage and pride... in Mexico it's only celebrated in some areas, mainly in Puebla, where they celebrate that the mexican army won a battle over the french during the civil war. I do remember though the ruckus being made about some students having to remove their T-Shirts because it had a US flag on it, I thought that was ridiculous.

Oh my bad. Well, I learned something new. At any rate, that sounds even more stupid in my opinion. It especially makes me mad about that school thing because we, as Americans do have the freedom of speech, but it was silenced because some people celebrating another country had a problem with it. Backwards.

Illegal immigration irritates the bejeezus out of me. Someone tried to garner sympathy from me on the subject earlier... and while I do understand wanting to make a better life for themselves... Do it legally. When I lived by Detroit I had a neighbor who was an illegal immigrant. For $85 and a trip to Chicago, she was able to build herself a new life with someone's stolen identity. To make it even more enfuriating, they were bold enough to have 11 different identities established. The couple both worked 40 hours a week at a minimum wage job for $6/hour. They were able to get loans to buy fanciful things, and yet here I've been my entire life and cannot do so without having to have someone co-sign for me. When I was asked to accompany the wife to a doctor's appointment, she whipped out more than three different state ID cards, confused of which one she was even supposed to be using. Talk about p!ss!ng someone off!!!!!! They didn't qualify for food stamps, but they had Medicaid and there was some woman always bringing them VERY expensive clothes because she "felt sorry for Mexicans." That's nice lady, how about putting those clothes on the backs of some American children who were actually in need? To make it worse, 90% of the time the clothing was just discarded. I'm sorry, but I feel that our own and those who worked hard to be here legally should be looked after first. Feel differently? How about this? I'm gunna go build a small tent city on your front lawn, invite ten of my closest friends and let them invite their friends and family. When we're thirsty, we're just going to walk right into your house, straight to the kitchen, and pop open a cold one... I don't care if we have to take it right out of your hand. And if one of us gets hurt? No problem! Since we're at your home, I'm sure your home owners insurance will cover the tab at the cost of raising your premiums. Not looking so good now, is it?

It's actually NOT their fault. Its the fault of those that hire them. And it is the fault of our government who doesn't go after those that hire them. I can't get medicaid even though I'm a single mom and barely get by but they do. How is that? It is our government that allows it.

Some states go after employers who hire illegal immigrants as well as those who rent housing properties to them. The problem is that so many use false identifications and credentials. So in that sense, it's not only the employers, as many of the people using these IDs simply paid the real people a chunk of change to use their paperworkd, etc. But here's one I want you to think about. I know some people in their late 20s. They are Mexican-Americans, the children of legal immigrants. None of the formentioned 20-somethings finished high school. One of the, in fact, has been in adult ed for about 6 years - It's safe to say she's as dumb as rock. As they all speak, read, and write fluent Spanish and are dark complected, each has made a fake diploma stating they graduated from schools in Mexico and have gotten (and quit!!!) more jobs in the last 4 years than I've had in my entire life. Better jobs than I've had, I might add. P!$$e$ me off royally.
