What is the one thing you regret doing so far in your life....

First, welcome to myLot! I regret letting go of a best friend some time ago. Sure, it taught me about commitment, guilt and putting others first, but it hurt her and myself badly in the process. If I could go back I would have stayed to avoid the pain I caused her.

One thing I regret doing is depending too much on my parents. They seem to be quite care free about the future for which now I am suffering. Because of their travelling habit, I had to change my high school 3 times and lose friends in the way. And now my career is at stake. I long to stay in one place all my life. So now I am trying to make myself independent from them.

Welcome! The one thing I regret most in life to date is moving back to my home town. I really don't like it here. My family is getting older and my husband was going to be an over the road long hauler. So he wanted me to move back home so I wouldn't be along all the time. I would've rather been alone all the time. I'm alone all time anyway. What's the difference. I had an excellent job and now I'm always trying to find something better then what I currently have. This tells me I'm not satified with my job either. I was happier in the suburbs of a big city. Best Wishes!

Nothing..as It would make me doubt all my future decisions- and like you have said 'without mistakes we will never learn'.. so really 'regretting' is just apart of learning..
