Have you encountered lnk file issues with your desktop shortcuts?

Last night as I was chatting with my friends in facebook, I noticed that all my desktop shortcuts change their icons and all are uniform. When I try to open it, it doesn't work anymore. I try to fix it but don't know what adjustment should I take. Today, as open my laptop, i still try to fix the issue and still I failed. i asked some help from one of my friends and since he doesn't have any idea, He ask help from his co-worker. He gave me a link with a forum content and the topic was the same as my situation. I read their posted questions and answer and with my hardships, I fix everything. Thanks a lot to my friend and to his co-worker for helping me out...

I am glad it worked!
Just point of reminder that those icons/programs came from various programs which you installed. Some of them programs simply install their's junk.
You might want looiking into registry repairing program, I am using:
"Error repair professional"
When we removed programs, based my experience, few files remain.
That program deals with obsolute programs, registery entry by deleting them and it great! Give a try!
