why can't i "paste" something in any discussion after copying something in mylot

In order to be able to copy and paste anything more than a very short piece of text, you must have an activity rating (the number beside your name) of 500 or greater. It is to discourage spam and plagiraism.

You need a user rating (the number in brackets next to your name) of 500 before you can copy and paste into a discussion, response or comment. This rule was made some time ago in order to try to prevent plagiarism.
