I noticed that the gas price is slightly go up again today while I was driving up to work. That might not be so shocked to see it will eventually bounce up, since it is summer time officially. And more and more people still traveling during the Independence day's weekend. We just have our fingers crossed those number won't go up too high, like up to $4.00 again. We just won't go out or shop less again. I hope the government can do whatever they can to control this price too high again.

It's going up here in the uk £1.40 a litre which is ridiculous it's far too high I can't believe that just a few years ago it was 70 pence a litre. Dam this inflation, the current economy is just bending us all over. Such harsh time.

This happened after Memorial Day as well. I think the gas companies do this on purpose, lower gas prices for the holiday weekend then raise them the day after. I hope it does not spike up too much.

They didn't lower them here. They went down to $3.44 and was up to $3.69 as of the 4th then yesterday I saw the price up to $3.75. That's nearly a .30 jump in under 2 weeks time!

Actually around here most stations are staying around the same or still continuing to drop a little. We have seen one that did go up about 4 cents with no real explanation except for they know they have no problem getting that. Overall I would think if anything Obama would be trying to keep prices down the closer we get to elections next yr.

I wish they would do something to control the gas prices too but I doubt if that happens. They are talking about raising taxes to cover the national debt so I bet gas is helping them get out of debt also.

Yeah it shot up from being $3.44 a lil over a week ago to $3.75! I don't do any holiday traveling I can't afford it. Ok I went to the IL's but they are 30 min away, hour round trip and that's more than I drive in any given week total! It's really depressing, no raises this year for hubby but everything keeps climbing higher and higher and it's all we can do to keep our mouths fed. It's all just SICK!

The country has little control in how the gas priceses will go. Gas is made primarlly out of oil, and a majority of the oil we use for gas comes from over seas. Therefore the cost of oil varies depending on the overall need and demand. If the government could control it, then maybe it wouldn't bounce around like a yo-yo, but the truth remains it all depends on how costly the oil is. The cost of oil is dependant on the overall demand, as well as how hard it is to aquire.

If only something good could be done about gas prices like keeping them low so we could afford to gas up would be so wonderful. why does the price of gas only seem to go higher once it comes down a few center per gallon?
