What do you think of red lipstick?

I seldom put on very red lipstick. My parents do not stop me from making up but they find it too "awful" to wear a red lipstick because they thought I look like a ghost when wearing it. May be it is because of the chinese tradition in their mind. And personally I find it quite difficult to do a perfect makeup using red lipstick. I have to think very seriously to choose the eyeshadows which match the red lips, which in reality I don't have much time to do such a makeup before I go to work. And I am curious, do you use lip liner when you use red lipstick? I have heard that it is a must to use lip liner with red lipstick in order to show the brilliant lip shape. Cheers!

I'm into red lipstick but not all the time. It depends on what I'm wearing that time, the place, and the event but i do love to wear it because It is really noticeable. They can't help but to stare. Others said that it suites me that's why I always reserve this look for an important event. I posted a picture on my facebook account just recently wearing red lipstick, with an little bit of mascara and contact lenses and I got many compliments and likes. That's why I love wearing red lipstick though others would say that they don't like it. Maybe they don't like it because it doesn't suites them. I don't know but I don't get any negative comments on wearing red lipstick. Sometimes I was kinda scared to wear it outside because I feel like some people are going to comment but now I have the guts. I don't care whatever they say. There's nothing bad wearing a red lipstick.

I find red lipstick sexy and classy as well. The problem for me is finding the right shade of red. It's either too pink or too brown or too bright and it doesn't match my skin tone. It's frustrating.

The red lipsticks that I love the most are the Russian Red from MAC and the True Red from Revlon.

I find women wearing red lipstick very sexy and seductive.It really depends sometimes who wears it.Other women are not compatible with the lipstick they wear because of their skin tone and the type of lips they had.

i personally is a big fan of red lipstick, because i myself is in love with vintage fashion and old hollywood make up. they usually wears those kinds of lipstick and brings out the hot and sexyness they possess. everybody have their taste in fashion or make up so you dont have to bother what people thinks.

I really like red lipstick. my favourite shade is Macs Russian Red. the slight blue tone makes your teeth look whiter. I don't get many comments on it to be honest.

Personally, I do not like red lipstick on me. I have thick lips, and a round face. I just don't think it looks good on me at all, and neither does hot pink. Those bright bold colors make my lips look much larger than they already are. However, I think it looks beautiful on some people. It just depends on your face, complexion, etc... not everyone looks good in red lipstick.

Red lipstick is a becoming a hot trend nowadays. They are truly classy and glamorous. It is best worn in the night at parties with that little black dress. Just make sure it matches the color of clothes you wear and the occasion you are going to. But I guess it is perfectly all right to wear if you feel it makes you feel and look beautiful. That is just the most important thing. When we feel good about ourselves. Then you know you are truly you. Just remember that if you are putting on dark lipsticks, make sure you have lighter eye makeup. And if your eye make up is dark, then go with the lighter on the lips.
