The characterization of a person as “beautiful”, whether on an individual basis or by community consensus, is often based on some combination of Inner Beauty, which includes psychological factors such as personality, intelligence, grace, politeness, charisma, integrity, congruence and elegance, and Outer Beauty.
Standards of beauty are always evolving, based on what a culture considers valuable. Historical paintings show a wide range of different standards for beauty. However, humans who are relatively young, with smooth skin, well-proportioned bodies, and regular features, have traditionally been considered to be the most beautiful throughout history.

Beauty is still in the eyes of the beholder. I really don't care much about what other people say as long as I was able to see something unique and special in that person. I believe that each one of us has beauty inside and if everyone can just see it, then everyone would just love one another - no more fights, no more wars.

Beauty is very subjective. There is no fixed standard. It is only the eye of the beholder who can define beauty.
It's like the word sexy. A friend once told me i am sexy but I told him my body is not sexy. To my surprise he responded by saying, did i say it's your body that's sexy? And he added by saying, i maybe referring to your mind? A witty, intelligent woman can also be beautiful in her own way. My dad was very attractive to women and to them he was handsome because of his sense of humor. But my father's physical appearance didn't fall in the category of handsome as dictated by society.

Hello arnel. I agree with your concept of beautiful inside out. True beauty starts from within... true beauty lies inside us. When one is beautiful inside, it reflects on outside as well. Inner beauty radiates outside. When we are happy and confident, we hold our head up high and we feel strong. These are the beautiful qualities that radiate outward when we cultivate and nurture our inner beauty. :) Aside from what you have mentioned, inner beauty includes psychological factors such as elegance, charm, kindness and compassion. While outer beauty includes physical factors such as youthfulness, complexion, and symmetry. :)
