Just Watched Thor

I've just watched Thor on DVD (pirated) and it's good. Not comparable to Ironman or The Incredible Hulk movies but it's still good. The movie was introductory to Thor's life that's why the plot isn't that epic but I think they did quite a nice job producing the whole flick. Too bad, though, because the next time we'll be seeing Thor is when The Avengers movie will be released.

About Thor - is Thor immortal? Asgardian address human as mortals, so it means they live eternally. But in the movie, Thor's father implies that he has a father or even a grandfather - where are they? Living or not? I'm glad to know, I have no time to deal with mythology nowadays.

I don't really know. Maybe they age slower or something. I don't really know why they use the term "mortals" on humans.

I watched the movie too but I was disappointed. I was expecting much from the movie to a fault. I guess I wanted more action and special effects. I hope the next installment does better.

You mean you haven't had enough of the special effects they have in there? I think they've put up quite a lot actually. There were also a number of fight scenes.

I'm happy you liked the movie. I love the movie too. I watched it right after I downloaded it in Vuze. It was a cinema copy but the copy was clear and just loved it. I think, I have watched it 4 times already. The visual effects are remarkable! Not forgetting that the story line was also amazing. I hope they will make a part two of it. :) It would surely be a lot better. :)

Sadly, they won't make a sequel because they'll be making The Avengers and Captain America. Maybe there's not enough budget.
