Christian is AGAINST of TELEKINESIS!

I have read some discussions about Telekinesis through out the MyLot search engines but no one had a topic about what the CHRISTIANS says about Telekinesis. We understand that Telekinesis is a power of mind over matter that we get energy thorough the use of our mind. However, I don't let myself involve or do practice Telekinesis if it is against with Christian Faith. Does anyone know if it is really against with the Christianity or God? Why? Is it a form of magic? or evil works? OR it is a natural ability of human being? I need your opinion about this especially to those Christian who knows very well about the Scripture of the Bible and to those who knows well too about scientific explanation.

It's not specific to Telekinesis, but from my understanding, the reason it's 'not believed' or looked down upon is because they feel any type of 'supernatural' powers can only be given to man from the devil, so it's considered an evil thing. the earth the the area where the devil is dominant so he has the power to give these 'unhuman' powers to man. it is a controversial topic. i AM a chirstian, but i believe the power of the human mind is endless and there are things we don't understand. i feel if the devil can give a person the power, so can god...right? it's just what we do with the powers we are given that make us.
