Hi lotters,
I'm not a domestic goddess or one of the stepford wives hehehehe on that note I'd like your help on how to keep my vinyl floors sparkling clean. I want my floor to
be very clean but one thing I have a dog and her hair sticks out to the tiny edges of the flooring. I noticed too that the floor has lost its shine and luster, how do I bring it back to life? I also found out that even if I mop the floor during the morning in the afternoon it is kinda dusty even if we use slippers strictly for inside use. Need your inputs...thanks.

We have a Swiffer WetJet that we use in the kitchen and dining room. This will keep the floor very clean. I tend to have to use it every third day. On the day that I am not using the Swiffer to clean up the floor in there, I do tend to sweep with the broom every day. We have several pets in our home and that does keep the pet hair up off of the floor so that I don't feel embarassed to have other people see my vinyl floor.

I have a couple of tricks for you. I sweep and then I use the Swifter dry cloths over the floor. That swifter pcks up hair like you wouldn't believe. Plus dust and anything else the broom leaves behind. Then I use bleach water on my floors. It really does a good job. I just have to do it in my kitchen and bathroom though. I use different stuff on my hardwood floors.

I have wood colored vinyl flooring in my lounge, front hall and back hall. I vacuum it and then wash it over with a lemon floor wipe. In my porch I have a white marble affect laminate. I like to sweep it out with a dust pan and brush then wipe it down with a baby wipe. My kitchen floor is similarly hard to clean so I wash each tile with a baby wipe. Then I give it a rub over with a lemon floor wipe.
