What kind of movies do you like annd why?

I like a little bit of everything. I'm not real big on horror movies. I get so tense while I'm watching them that my chest starts to hurt. I think I just get so involved I forget to breath as much lol. I think my biggest favorite is romantic comedies. I love to laugh. Anything that makes me laugh is good. I also love the romantic story of how a couple gets together.

I was a movie addict before, going to the movie theatres atleast three times a week, and I liked all kinds of movies, detective, western, musical, comedy, etc. But, these days , I rarely get the chance to go to the theatres. Just sit in front of the TV. My favorites these days are musicals and comedies. That's more relaxing and enjoyable.

Hi! I love a variety of movie genres! I like action movies like The Expendables, martial arts movies (I love Jet Li and I like Donnie Yen and Jackie Chan), I like horror movies especially Asian horror movies like those of the Japanese and Korean, I also like adventure/sci-fi movies like Harry Potter, Transformers, marvel superhero movies like Superman, X-Men, etc. I seldom like love stories or the popular romantic comedy movies. But I liked those movies of Julia Roberts like Notting Hill and Runaway Bride.

i like comedy the most specially when the news that day make my head want to explode, but i like action too....

I have no specific genre of favorite movie but what I like to watch is epic movie which has ancient battle involve in it. For example Lord of The Rings. Other movies which are good and recommended by me are "Red Cliff" part 1 and 2. The graphics are stunning and the battles are epic. The storyline of the movies are inspired by the novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms which i believe many peoples are interested to study and to make research of. But the movies only covers some part of the novel which is the naval battle of Red Cliff and some times before that. In conclusion, I love to watch epic movies which has ancient battle, strategy, and tactical in it. Red Cliff part 1 and 2 are Hong Kong movies directed by John Woo if I'm not mistaken. :)

I like comedies and fantasy films especially the quiet ones,because I do not like too many fights in the movies and for me,movies are just for relaxing.

As long as the story entertains, the acting is not groan worthy and the movie has something to it, I enjoy most genres. The thing is movies like books depend on a persons mood when watching them. In summer, lighter movies like comedies and action adventures are fun to watch whereas in winter I like suspense, horrors and dramas, even though comedies are great year round. Well that answers it I suppose I really enjoy comedies.

I can watch the cool movies and action movies which consists of moral and social responsibility. We have to grasp the good things from the movies. And we have to leave the bad in it. The comedy movies are specially gives relief from tensions and we all like to watch the comedy movies.

While there are a few horror movies I will watch, I don't like the just slashing blood smearing ones. Like a story setting with them. Comedy is probably my favorite everyone loves a good laugh. Second is all the Disney classics and animated movies. Pixar has made some REALLY good movies too. Just saw Rio and it was brilliant with color! I can watch movies over and over again when the setting is in the civil war era or historical romance and history. Then lastly I will watch any National Geographic or Animal type show. I know I won't be able to travel a lot because of my illnesses so sitting and watching these type of breath taking movies and learning cultures are just wonderful. Gives you a glimpse how others live and learn to have respect for them.

i like all sort of movie actually..as long as its made in the most artistic or clever way.. but most time i will go for adventures/action genre..
