Having babies is painful, animals feel it the same as people. The first 2 were the hardest and then she relaxed for the others, but the body still contracted in order to push them out. Cats often purr inbetween births. I am sure she will be a very good mom, but make sure she has a private place for these kittens, especially a rescue cat may be uneasy with to much attention and try to hide the kittens.

thank you, she is doing verry well now she actually wouldnt stay in her private place she kept comming to my lap but she ended up with 4 and she is doing a great job. It was a beutifull thing to be part of. she is in a box in a corner in my bedroom because we have other animals and I dont want them to bother her.

awww.. Kittens are so Cute.....
I remember a cat my dad had rescued had kittens on my bed one morning.. As I woke to see her with them, it was very messy.. It was funny my little brother ran into my mum telling her she had killed rats on my bed....
