For me, it depends on the situation, as there are some things right now that are beyond my control. Due to situations with my health, I am running late a lot of times to work and if I was able to do more I would. But then I work with some people that seem to be late all the time and nothing is ever done, and it makes you wonder what goes thru their mind as to a real time to be somewhere?

Well its never good to be late as it creates a bad impression. Till today most of the times I have always made it on time where ever I have been. Appreciation of time is very important to me. Yes there have been those few instances where I have been late and then I feel akward to enter the place as people look at you and then it becomes so embarrissing. Never take time for granted as you never know what you may lose by doing so. Crying over time that has already gone is of no use as we can do nothing to get it back. Moreover time and tide wait for no one. So make best use of the available time as every minute is precious to us..

I am one Filipino who never comes to any gathering or event or even to work late. It is customary of me, that the night before my work or an event, i would set the alarm earlier so i could prepare myself well. Also i would always have an allowance of 15 minutes more of the usual travel time , just in case the public transport i would take ,will be delayed in one way or another. That way, i am assured that i won't be late.

hahaha! I feel incapacitated if I am late, I am always late with my previous work as a volunteer nurse, but here in my current office work, I am never late. I am motivated here for i got a salary unlike before and you know what I mean. :) I think there's what you call a Filipino time. :)

I'm going to feel guilty if I'm late especially for work. I'm living in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and traffic jam is the biggest problem in the city. My home and my work place is only around 15 km apart but just imagine, i spend 5 hours a day in my car just to go to work and back home. I departed from my house at 6 am everyday and arrive at my office at 8.30 am and go out from work at 5.30 pm and arrive at home at almost 8.00 pm everyday. I don't know what you mean by filipino and american time but I'm sure both filipino and american will feel guilty if they are late for something, especially for work. Well, that is at least what we Malaysian feel. :)
