Filipino's said "May Pera sa Basura" - there's money in garbage..
Wastes, Garbage, left overs, we could make money from it.
Recycling is the way to gain money. like making bags from plastics, recycle notebooks and sell it in low cost..
Please cite some ways to make money from recycling... tnx

My friend owns a "junk shop" and i can say that it's one of the best business in town.
I saw so many things that we think is already useless and we just throw, but no we can still make money out from those scraps.
Just recently i find out that junk shops buys cd's,broken cd's or cd's that are already not-in use.
Also flourescent lamps, those busted ones you can sell those in junkshop, but should not be broken.
I will asks my friend what are those things that we can sell in junk shop.

Well you can always sell your plastics, old papers & bottles to those who buy scrap. It is not much but at least you are helping in recycling.
Back in school we were given projects about how we can use old newspapers and magazines and make them into ornamental things.
Recently, Cotabato was flooded and they blamed the water lilies that blocked their water ways. Las Pinas residents who were making money by recycling water lilies were suggesting that Cotabato can do the same to ease their problem. Here is a link regarding the use of water lilies to make baskets. Said program by Congresswoman Villar gained international merit.

Well, I think is pretty tough you win money with recycling if you don't have a structured recycling company. I know that here in my country, we are the number one of recycling soda cans, because there are so many people that get them and after sell to a recycling company. I don't remember how much they pay.
