I can bring and eat my snacks inside the working location, what about you guys?

The company I'm working at allows employees to bring bottled drinks and tumblers in the work area but restricts wrapped foods. You're lucky because you can eat everytime you want. Me, I have to wait til break time before I can eat a full meal.

hi, lou. i dont know if we are working in the same industry (i work in a callcenter) but we have the same dilemma... recently, food was retricted on the floor area because its a company policy to start with. second, our US clients found out that we are bringing foods inside the production area and they have restricted it a long time ago, but being the hard-headed agents that we are we continually break the rules. anyway, if you are used to bringing food in your workplace and suddenly its prohibited maybe you could ask your boss if there are some kind of snacks that you can safely bring inside... we are allowed to bring hard candies, better than nothing :))

I have worked in quite a few offices where the atmosphere was good and not so good.Some were quite liberal and would allow the staff to eat snacks in the office as long as we did not waste time in our work.Some were strict and did not allow us but had no objection if we had our lunch on our work tables during lunch.

No but must keep the office clean.

yes, i am also happy to say that i can bring with me any snacks or food in my work place, and i can eat anytime i feel i want to eat, without hearing any bad comments from my office mates and especially from my boss. there are also times when i ask to deliver short order foods (like dumplings, breakfasts) directly to my table in any time i choose to. i am not totally making any brags, but i believe that what is really important is if have a quality output and better effectiveness on your work. that's all. thank you :)

perhaps u are in a good company. enjoy that. At the same time have regular timings for taking breakfast, lunch etc. that will be good.
