Do you know about it, I want to share about this disorder, it has affected a large number of youngsters. It has spread all over the world. Mostly it affects youngsters. Main reason it not to take complete diet means basic diet daily. Our body has some basic needs which we should take in our daily routien, but in these days youngsters ignore it to keep them lean and slim. you can see the lack of sleep, fatigued and anaemic problem in the paitient. Healthy diet is must to keep healthy please share with me if you have more knowledge about it.

Dont really know too much about it although I have been told I may have anorexia (yeah right). Of course if I was a little more prone to social pressure, like I was years back, I might definitely believe and act on it. I have been a little smaller than my brother for most my life, I have weighed about 121 - 122 lbs. since I was about 13. I am now 21. I dont think anything is wrong with me, but ya never know. Could I have a slight eating disorder cause I can go for most the day without noticing that I need to eat. Like, I will notice, but it will not be something that bugs me a lot which doesnt seem right.

Yeah.....it is quite common these days. One can only hope that people become more wiser and that they feed themselves well to avoid such conditions.

I recovered from annorexia about 15 years ago...it's more of a mental thing than anything...I still battle daily & have to force myself to eat sometimes but I still only really eat when I am hungry...no matter how thin an annorexic person is, they still see "fat" on them...I guess it's the way they perceive themselves.

Oh! no, thank you so much my friend, it is really opened many of the youngsters eyes. i totally agree with you, the youth has to eat in time and time to time, that will gives them good health. And they can healthily do their works. Irregular eating time may affects their future.

Yes, I know about eating disorder first hand. I had a bad one after my son was born. I put on a lot of weight while I was pregnant (65 pounds)When he was 2 days old I weight myself and had only lost 15 pounds of it. This was very depressing. I had always been a small person. Then my cousin came over and made the remark "I hope you stay fat" Well I was not going to let that happen so I started dieting, eating ex-lax and making myself vomit if I though I ate to much. Well I lost all the weight and became small again but I have had trouble with my stomach every sense. Have a Blessed Day

Anorexia is a serious health condition that affects millions around the world. Society has molded this image that people should be skinny so these youngsters look up to that image and try to follow it. It's such a shame because they are depriving themselves of vital nutrients and very often this results in higher risk of depression, bipolar, and other mental problems. If only they could carry out a more extensive campaign against it.

Little girls play with Cindy dolls and Barbie dolls that are ever so thin. Then when they are teenagers they read girly magazines in which models look very slim. Teenage females like to dress in trendy clothes. They look in the mirror and want to loose lots of weight. They eat hardly anything and do lots of exercise. One lady that has Anorexia showed that she had no fat to sit down on. It looked painful to me. Eating disorders have happened to one of my friends. She finds eating a healthy diet difficult and she has a low weight. She is thin but not as badly as in her teenage years. There is another eating disorder when the person eats then vomits.

I had a psychology professor with anorexia. She was a really nice and sweet person but when it was brought to the attention of the college administration, they had to let her go. They urged her to seek professional help. I never did know what happened with that professor but she was very ill. She layered her clothes to look better but her face looked like that of a skeleton. I hope that she did get the help she needed and was able to go back to teaching.
