Anyone else??

When I am on my dashboard at Yahoo! Contributor Network/Associated Content, there are many times when I may receive a message and delete it or move it to the archives. After leaving the messages area and returning to the dashboard it says I have messages still. So, I go to click into the messages area again and it shows no messages.
Sometimes days later while in my dashboard and having no messages, it still shows I have a message. (There is a little 1, 2, or whatever number next to the link for "Messages" near the top of the page.) Does this happen to anyone else?
On the same note, sometimes when I do receive new messages, I get an update on the dashboard (near the right top side of the screen) that says, "1 Update: You have 0 new private messages. Click here to view." ... Why would it update me that I have 0 new messages? And sometimes THERE IS a message, sometimes there's not. I guess this is a glitch in the system, but just curious if anyone else noticed any of this?

The new Yahoo layout is horrible. I much preferred the old AC one - at least it was possible to find things in it. With the new layout, I can't find anything about account balance, payments or useful stuff - just a bunch of vague page view estimates, unhelpful graphs and other useless crap. Awful, awful, awful interface - Yahoo should know better.
And yes, their message system's seriously messed up, too. Mine kept telling me I had dozens of unread messages, but they were all marked 'read'. Duh.
Glad I stopped writing there, to be honest. I think the interface would drive me wonko.

If you don't mind me asking, where do you write now, if anywhere? Can you give me a little more information? I was writing for Factoidz a bit but then it seemed like they lowered their performance pay rates and definitely lowered the bonus payouts per article written. I was thinking about focusing more on AC again, but if you have some better suggestions, I am definitely open to them. : )

I work directly with clients now.
I picked up one regular client on Elance (a US-based pair who are great fun and pay me to edit gigantinormous piles of articles written in Asia) and one on oDesk (UK-based property work, incredibly regular, been working for him for over two years).
Also have a couple of irregulars (an Eastern European software firm that needs Press Releases checked and some other off-and-on work for various friends).
Just picked up a new (hopefully regular or semi-regular) client who saw some articles I have on Constant Content. Stuff on UK property, so he contacted me to write 3-4 ebooks for him, at pretty decent rates!
I stopped doing revenue share when I realised that I have 38 articles on AC which have made about $30 in 3 years. I've sold 6 (of about a dozen) on Constant Content for over $110. And I get paid hourly or per-word if I work direct with people... at proper rates.
If I were to suggest any site outside of the bidding sites (which are a great direct-client source), I'd suggest Constant Content. You can write to order for their public requests and earn a decent salary for your efforts - or, if you're lucky enough to be someone who comes up with titles easily (I'm not), you can write LOADS of content and make an absolute fortune.

Sounds interesting. Can you private message me some links? Thanks again!
