Well, after posting for some help on how to deal with the stressed out husband I got a few good responses and I appreciate that.
Today he is doing some projects around the house today and seems to at least be occupied.
So, tell me what things do you do when your significant other is so stressed out and basically acts out?

I am glad to hear he is doing better today and it could simply be a load of stress from work too. Usually I will ask if there is anything he wants to discuss which may help release some stress. He is like me where under these types of situation, we sometimes just want to be left alone.
But after a bit, we do talk about one anothers day and that usually gets him smiling and back to his ole self.

I stayed my distance and let him do his thing and it seemed to work fairly well. I know he is still stressed but as he said yesterday the problem with work is just a sit and wait game. So he is trying very hard to not dwell on it too much.

Hi hardworker,
If you think your hubby is stressed and therefore you need to make him feel easy and everything normal do not interfere in his job unless that is too costly to experiment with.
Another think to help him recover soon is to listen whatsoever he tells you. This is his outlet to the suppressed mental agony. You could also go for a short trip just to give him a environmental change and a change for you too.

This is excellent advice. I want to thank you for this.
I think you are absolutely right about leaving out and getting a break from the home environment!
