I've been to five launches now... it never gets old. Today had the biggest crowds I've ever seen there. It's sad to know that the Space Shuttle will never fly again, but it is time to move on. I'm excited about the possibilities of private spaceflight stepping into the spotlight now. I posted some pictures I got here (the first 6 photos): http://www.gather.com/viewOtherPhotosByMember.action?memberId=564194

I can imagine the crowds must have been big! It is sad as it is the end of an era but, like you say private space flights will now be soon upon us! Amazing!
