My daughter is into gymnastics. She lives and breaths it. Some time she drives me crazy. She is very good at it. She won national this year. I get kind of nervous sometime because of the stunts they do are very dangerous. Her goal is to go to the Olympics.
My boys all played baseball. They were pretty good. Two of them went as far as high school. One dropped out and they other one had scouts coming to watch him but he ended up with a severe shoulder injury and had to quite.
My one son had a heck of a time though when he played little league. He always manage to get hit with the ball when he was batting.
I think kids being involved in sports is good for them. What do you think?

My daughter is into badminton and swimming. Sports is good for our kids because they have to sit all day in school and sometimes at home using the computer. It's better to enroll them in sports especially during summer so they won't waste too much time in front of the computer playing games.

This is very true. They need that exercise and discipline. I kind of feel sorry for children who are not into sports. It is like they are missing out on so much.

Though I don't have kids I would be willing to share my views on taking kids into sports. Yes, it is better to have your kids involves in sports not only it would help them to be physically fit, but it will be the opportunity for them to discover their hidden ability. They would have a chance to excel into something they did not expect.
For me, swimming is a nice sports to be in for kids, regardless of gender. Swimming is such a nice sports for beginners or for kids to be particular. It is less prone to physical injuries for it can be under the guidance of adult as the kids is on process of learning. Well that's only for my own opinion. But it is a fact that any sports has its own benefits to human bodies. And it depends on the ability and talent given to a child to where he can excel, and as parents, support would be their encouraging weapon to excel. Happy mylotting.

Yes I agree swimming is a good sport. The exercise is great. All my kids learn to swim but never showed and interest in the sport. I always though it would be cool but when I was growing up there was no place for it in my town.

It is good to have kids involves in sports as it keeps them active and pushes them to the limit. Well i'm not married and no kids till yet but when I was young I used to play a lot of cricket and football. With the amount of running that we do in sports we keep ourselfs active and stay fit as well. Its great to see that your kids are so involved in the sporting activities that they play and have great goals in life. As a parent we can support them in fulfilling their dream as they willl only make us proud one day in life. Good luck to all of them may they be successful in life..

Definitely is very good to the kids be involved in sports. It's good their health and they can meet new persons and make new friends. When I was a kid, my mom put me in swimming classes. It was very nice, I could make a lot of new friends there! But I never wanted to be an athlete.
Good to hear that your kids have sucess on sports! Your daughter probably is very disciplined, because, in my opinion, gymnastics is one of the hardest sports to do.

Well I will go ahead and tell you that I don't have any kids sorry but I do think that baseball is a really cool sport for kids to play. I remember when I was younger I used to play golf a lot and that was the sport that I really had a great connection with so if you are looking for other sports to get your kids into, I recommend golf!
