Zar and I will be celebrating our 5th year anniversary as bf/gf this coming July 12, 2011 (at exactly 12:18am to sound cheesier, hehe)... i wonder what gift to give him,,
you see, during our first 2-3 years we've been giving presents and cards and we eventually got tired in giving stuff like that(is that even a correct term?) - i mean, we (cheesily?) celebrate every 12th of the month by going out on a date (seeing a movie or just dining out, and then giving out the cards or any token of love.. ahay, cheesy no matter how i say it).. so one 12th of the month day we are just happy that the "usual stuff" are gone.
but an anniversary will always be different.
i dont have any idea what present to give him.. for the past years ive given all that i can think of, a new shirt, books, pants, pens, cds, new sports bag, earphones and even underwears, haha ^^
any suggestions?
PS. at a cheaper price if you may, haha :)
thanks

Actually, you can always buy things that interest him or even things that he really in need. At least, you can let him know how caring you are to him. Guy usually likes girl who is caring and sensitive to his needs. Hope you have a wonderful 5th year anniversary with your boyfriend....![](/Content/images/emotes/cheering.gif)

First of all, let me say, Congrats Katz
Next, what kind of hobbies or interest does your bf have? Do he like to go fishing? Play video games? camping? You can always make something.
For example: if he likes to play video games, and his games are disorganized, decorate a plastic basket with his favorite game characters for him to keep his games organized.

hi again carmel
Zar is addicted with his XBOX (he calls it his other girlfriend!), i remember that some two years ago i gave him a small cd rack., but you know how its really disorganized even if they have this kind of stuff...
im thinking of giving him another one (bigger cd rack?), since he has accumulated quite a large number of game cds from the last years...
thanks :)

You know what kat, when we were just dating, my husband and I, I didn't have much money since I was just a student then. I would just make scrapbooks and DIY presents that I would think he would like.hehehehe, I collect some stuffs from our previous dates and I make a romantic card or gift out of it.hahahaha! You think he'd like that?![](/Content/images/emotes/blush.gif)

Hmmmmmm... Me and my man will also be celebrating our monthsary this 12th of July. I couldn't think of a present for him either. lol.
Anyway, I would suggest that you go to the church first and thank God for sharing lives with each other, go out for a romantic dinner in a beach perhaps. And for a change, give him a bouquet of flowers. Hehehe.. That's all I can think. :) Hope I have helped. :)

cool.. we have the same monthsary date :)
and you know what, ive always thought of giving him bouquet of flowers for a change, but i always decide otherwise.. because we are both practical persons (in short, frugal, haha), during these close to 5 years relationship, he only gave me flowers for less than 5 times.. because i told him (prior to engaging in a relationship) that NEVER give me flowers... just give me some cash or treat me out for lunch.. haha, but thats a nice suggestion you got jdex :)

I really think something cool that he would like would be a new shirt. You can probably find a decent find for under a tenner and he would like it a lot trust me! I know I would!

hehe, you think so? there was one time that i helped him fix his stuff and i found out that most of the clothes in his closet came from me... i was overwhelmed, really. especially when i saw the very first shirt i bought for him. im considering this.. i realized that men can get more sentimental at times.. hehe... thanks for your suggestion sir :)
