Can anyone suggest what's the best remedy for hair fall? It's been weeks already since I noticed my unusual hair fall. I get alarmed because it's not the usual amount of hair that is taken out from my head. Please help. :(

must be the brand of shampoo or conditioner that you are using, jdex. they say that you must not stick with one brand of shampoo or conditioner for a long time. it's preferable if you change brands at least quarterly.
also another reason could be genetic (does this sound weird to you, haha?).
i know a friend with the same situation but she isn't alarm because most members of her family experiences too much hair fall once in a while.
i tried to research for hair fall solution online but my internet connection is acting up so i'll leave the research to you. sorry. i wish i can post this response, though :)

I don't think what you say about using the same shampoo is correct. I used one for years and my hair was in excellent condition for all the time that I was using it. So perhaps what the barbers meant was that sometimes the product might be bad and if you use it constantly it will damage your hair, so the best thing to do is change your shampoo regularly to prevent this happening as you don't really know what damage is being done. If you find an excellent product that does wonders for your hair stick to it, but you have to be sure that is really good for your hair.

Forty strands a day of hair fall is just normal according to a physician. If ever, on a day u don't get some hair fall because you tied your hair overnight or some other reasons, whether we like it or not, on the following day, we get double of hair fall from what we missed on the previous day.
Now, for the remedy, while there are products that claim to prevent hair fall and some that promote hair growth, I do not think these all work effectively unless you opt for aesthetic surgery.
It is best to limit your usage of shampoo like 2X a week only. Use conditioner regularly for a smooth hair. A frizzy hair can also trigger to hair fall due to hard combing. Limit as well the use of hair blower, hair perming, hair lotions and the like and get rid of salons . Although, salons may claim that their product treatment can help promote hair fall prevention, they use chemicals for it and blowers/iron.
The real remedy is to go back to basics. Go back to natural hair treatment like virgin coconut oil and aloe vera.

Hello.. Thank you for your helpful response. I'm really worried of my hair fall. My roommate told me that it's beyond normal already and I got alarmed.
Whenever I use shampoo and conditioner after, I would have so many strands of hair in my hand. I already get rid of using shampoo because I was thinking that it was because of the shampoo. I also don't use conditioner anymore because as I have noticed, when I use conditioner, I'll get more strands detaching from my head. :(

If you thinking about going to bald, you have must be aware it also a genetic. It is not a disorder if it is genetically inclined because it runs in family blood line historically. Like if your ancestors, grandfathers, father, uncles, brothers, cousins and so on if they are historically been bald you may have a tendency to get bald also. This will occurs noticeably probably between at the age of 30 to 40. Normally these are not totally bald but just like a priest or bishop hair kind of style. Or what we Filipino call them as shaggy style or just higher hairline style.
Just like within my family, my grandfather (on the father side) and his brothers are mostly bald. Then my father, his brothers and cousins and distant relatives are also mostly bald or has minimum quantity of hairs. My two younger brothers at their 30s has signs of baldness but still not bald only just minimum quantity but their hairline are higher.
For Me, I don't know if gonna be bald or not. I have a minimum quantity of hairs but I don't get a high hairline. I don't get afraid or pressured if I'm going to be bald or not. Bald or not is just fine. Being bald is also beautiful for me.
They said don't use shampoos frequently because what we have in our family. But I still using shampoos every time or everyday I take a bath. I apply the shampoos always on twice or always have a second round on applying the shampoo every time I take a bath. At the first application of the shampoo won't have many bubbles, but only on the second round of applying the shampoo. I use conditioners at frequently or on special occasions only because it makes my hair so very soft. The most important I do every time I shampoo or use conditioner.
Irritations on the scalp is another cause of falling hair. Dandruffs is caused by irritations on the scalps. Shampooing is really a must to get scalp out of irritations. Or to prevent the scalp to get dry. Every time I shampoo the most important is to rinse the hair or scalp thoroughly so it wont have any left over residues of the shampoos. Shampoo is also a must if you a regularly using hair gels, hair sprays or other things that you also applying on your hair.
I also sometimes do my hair cut styles on almost skin head. On that way I am use to have minimum quantity of hairs. But on the other side of life, doing that kind of hair cut style make the growth of my hairs look good and so fine. My hairs grow fast actually.
Other causes of hair fall are diet, lifestyles, stress and always being hot headed. Some medicines. And of course also with chemotherapy.
