Travelling to Dubai

I think that the first response gave you much understanding of how to get a visa to visit Dubai. One my my friends is going to visit Dubai for her tenth wedding anniversary. Her sister has visited it four times already and adores it there. I think it is a modern city with tall building surrounded my desert and golden sandy beaches. Their shopping center called Dubai Mall is meant to be excellent. Gold is a popular purchase in Dubai.

First....what is your nationality?.....I checked your profile and you are in Qatar? Are you a local or an expat?...If you are an expat, what position is indicated in your resident card?....I am asking this because there are certain rules depending on your Qatar resident card. If you are holding a managerial position, you can get a visa on arrival and just pay the visa fee at the airport...the last time I entered in Dubai was in 2006 and I just paid Dhs. 100/- at the airport and I was given a 30day stay.... In case you are not qualified for a visa on arrival, you need to get a pre-arranged visa....here you need to contact a travel agent or a hotel where you will stay....they differ on the rates on visa charges...you need to check and compare the rates..... Be ready to spend lots of money as shopping is irresistable.
