Hello friends and mylotters,
As you might have previously know, I was doing a project on a travel website. that was about one and a half months ago. While the design logo was up pretty quickly, there are some functions was not up to my expectation.
However I did managed to find an freelancer that have seem to got all the grounds covered, currently testing some of the functions of the site. I hope to be able to introduce it to you in a short time.
Oh by the way if you need to find a freelancer, I could introduce this guy to you. He is definitely one of the better one I have deal with.
Cheers wish me luck

I'd be interested to know where you found your freelancer - did you go to RentACoder or one of the bidding sites? I don't need anyone right now but might in the future and that kind of feedback is always useful in the hunt for a reliable techie.

I found him on odesk, actually I search getacoder, freelancer, elance but I like odesk format better. I think for a novice like me, it is easier to navigate and I happened to read some of the reviews and engaged him, He has always been ready to give feedback. I have other experience I rather not mention which is why there is such long delay.

Yeah, sounds familiar...! I've heard very good things about Rentacoder, especially on their quality rules and refusing payment to freelancers unless they do a proper job.

Hello. I wondered what had become of you! GOod to know it is work and not health issues bogging you down. Hehe You found a good freelancer? Great! You should put him on that sight where you go to find good workers. I think word of moth is the best business tool. Hope to see it soon.

I know what you mean, I have not been very active over here lately, My project had a minor hiccup when the designer could not deliver the coding as promise and I had to source for a coder to do the job, I thought it would be a simple task but apparently much work have to be done and I might have to pay a higher price for what I am asking for. So I have to see how it goes.

Well done Iwrite, sounds like you are well on the way to getting this project completed. As I am also in the process of setting up different types of websites I am going to need a good freelancer, could you let me have some contact information and describe the sorts of things he has done for you successfully. Good luck with your continued project.

Thanks Jlyn,
Well the lesson I learnt is do not always pick the cheapest out there, and it is an expensive lesson I guess. I end up paying more that what the original plan that I am doing now.
If you want web design and coding I guess he is pretty decent, at least he is able to get most of my requirements into the project.

Congrats to u!! haha =D It's been a long wait, u know! Just kidding! Just be sure to share your end project with everybody so that we can tag along with it, look out for best travel plans from your site
U can never trust any company to do jobs, there's always flaws and holes everywhere, just to exploit us further, when it can be done effortlessly by them.. haha

Wow, that is great.
Hope to see your site for the coming months.
I might contribute to your blog eh!
I also want to have a blog of my own but like you I am not a techni savvy.
That is where I can be stopped to the plan of putting up a blog.
I just know how to write.

I hope it would be ready by the end of the month.
Then let me thank you in advance for contributing to my site, I hope you would like it and would drop by often. I am not tech savvy too, that is why I need to outsource some of the work to others.
Hey perhaps you can make money writing, I think there are a few sites out there if you are interested, I might just dig up some of the sites some of the mylotters have posted.
