I am curious. Muslims can marry up to 4 wives provided that he is capable of taking care of all of them. Do the wives share equal rights or is it first come first served?

From standards of civilized humanity, the Muslim wives are not actually wives but slaves to produce children to populate the earth with more Muslims and then rule the world. Their religion teaches them cruelty, and rigidity about what was said some 1400 years back.

If I had several illiterate women at home who don't work, who have no money, who depend on me, I would be able to do whatever I want, wouldn't I?Intelligent and educated Muslims barely practice polygamy these days. And I'm very happy with it.

Let's answer your questions first.
How Do Muslims Manage Having Many Wives?
that vary from a man to another and from country to another, because the influence of culture and other factors, some adhere to what the Holy Quran say but some not.
Do the wives share equal rights or is it first come first served?
Yes, the Holy Quran says that the wives must share equal rights.
Polygamy existed before Islam, many of the prophets of the Bible practiced polygamy and it is not new to Islam, the Only thing new to Islam is that the wives are limited to 4 wives and not 700 like the prophet David in the Bible.
for many details about polygamy in Islam I suggest this link:

I want to give a cowardly response by not responding directly to those who do not know what it is like to be a Muslim yet take great pride to condemn Islam.
Why do people condemn laws of Islam when all they have to compare are laws that they come up by themselves? I am a Muslim and i beleive that Islam is from God and it is different because God is different from man and that is why Islamic laws seems strange to those who do not think.
To those who think like you do, all i can say is that a man is created different from a woman. For some men if they are limited to one woman they will find mistresses.
Sorry i have read your some of your responses and I am upset.
To answer your question, i suppose Gordano has provided one.

To think if this thread is to be read by anyone anytime anywhere forever, you would want to give answers that you are sure at. Pity those who condemn Islam, they are just pathetic.

Actually that is an interesting question, I wonder how they do handle that particular situation. I would assume that they are all treated as equals under the law, but I am pretty sure that each man has their preferred one. It would be interesting to know how ever if the man is to decide which wife gets the most, or if they are all treated as equals. I never really thought about that.

I have a feeling that in those marriages, the women are not as high maintenance as a wife as most. I don't think those Muslim women ask for shopping money very often to buy a pretty new dress, or go out for pedicures. As long as the man is able to work to pay for food for all of his wives and children, he would be able to take care of them pretty easily. The women would watch the children, I'm sure, and cook. I don't really know that much about a polygamist Muslim lifestyle, but I imagine I'm not missing too much.
I would wonder what the wives would do at home, pray five times a day, take turns cleaning and doing that sort of thing. I guess they wouldn't watch soap operas or go out to the mall and eat a salad.
