So What Do You Think Of Life?

It just came up to my mind, this question about life. What is life? Is it just only about became a kid playing around, then study for long years for someday to get a decent job, then have a partner in life then become a grand and then gone. Everyone thinks of life just like "lets eat and drink and be married because tomorrow we will die", every simple people thinks that way and I'm not taking out myself there cause I've been there before , they never see much more important thing. For now, I see life as a gift, and a training field for something(I don't know exactly what it is but I can feel it), a chance and opportunity to worship God in a earthly body and to share Him to everyone that don't know Him yet.

You can't really define what it Life when you don't reach a certain age of maturity. When you encounter different kinds of experiences, events that are good and bad, that is the time for you to understand what life is. There is a different understanding of life in every stage of life, what you mentioned above is what it means for a young adult person like you. But there is deeper than that. For someone with "age", older adults, life is about giving and sharing. Imparting wisdom. Advocacy. There is a feeling of exhorting something to do good for the young ones.

You're right, commonly it depends on experience and age to explain everything. There is a difference between the wisdom of a old person to a young one. When I was a teen, I thought that life is just happenings and all about girls, but it all become different when I see the real world.

Sad to say but no, I never experienced it till now. But someday, maybe soon, I'm gonna do that, I will try living alone to another place or another country without anyone that's knows me. I want to know the feeling of being free... like what you said. =)

The more you get older, the more you define life deeper. Sometimes, we need to go out of our shell to find the beauty of the world. Have you become independent before in college days? If you experienced living alone without parents around, you will feel the freedom of being solo and you will feel how is life is alone.

Life is really how you want it to be. There are positives and negatives that consists it and it's up to you where you want to face. My uncle once told me that "You can get whatever you want as long as you are set to reach it." I've always liked this saying because it's true and it gives hope.

Just like what I watched in "The Pursuit of Happiness", Will Smith said "If you want something, just get it! period!". It's really an inspirational movie and I learned many things on that. Now every time I think of my dream, I always remember this movie's quote.

I think life is a journey. You come to this world and your journey starts from that day. You spend your journey with a lot of learning and many experiences. You can not pave the same path for everyone like you told the one above.
There are many people around here among which some have studied up to 5th standard, some up to 10th and some are bachelors and some others got the Masters degree.
But the common thing among all is that all eat food and they do something to pay for that food. Some are paid high so they have different dreams and some are not.
Life is not the same for everyone that is why it is a new journey for everyone.

Your definitely correct, everyone of us have a different journey in life. We can't compare ourselves to other because they have their own journey too. But life become more complicated because of our wrong doings and unthinkable actions. It is always depend on what we choose to be, what we want to be and what joy that bring us there. Our creator give us this great gift, to choose everything we want, it is our big responsibility to trigger where to walk.

I think this is quite simple. In my opinion, life is what you make it happen to be. I always think that life is an option we choose. We can always choose what life would mean to us. It can be of a spiritual, materialistic, technical or any other sense. The thing is, life is what it is that you think it is. Do I make sense with that phrase?

Of course, it make sense! It is about what we choose to be, it is about what we think it to be. Everything we had now is because we chose it and we executed it to our life. It is our big responsibility to choose the path that we will take on because it holds the success that we want.

In this life, we experience all sorts of things, good or bad. Everything is a part of life. Whether you like it or not, what happens in your life is what makes you. It is also a preparation for us to enter Eternity. So what you do in your life greatly affects you when you die. If you want to live an eternal life, then be deserving for it by being good in your current life.

I agree that this is all a preparation for something really big that a mind can't imagine. Being good in life will be give a reward, but in order to have a eternal life, we have to receive the truth in our heart.

I think life is great right now. There are always ups and downs. Usually more downs than ups but i appreciate life and what god has given each and every one of us.

Life is really a mystery. It is very unpredictable, so live in the present and try to be happy and make people around you happy as well. You never know if the world is gonna end tomorrow! So make the most of today and live life to the fullest.
The sorrows will be there around, but as they say, 'that's life'!

I agree, we have to live our life to the fullest, I heard it a lot today. There are always ups and down but as you said its always a part of life. Personally I am not religious, but this question also often worries me - what is life really about? I believe it is more than just playing some sort of Sims game where you buy a house and buy a car and go to school and meet a partner and have a family.. All of that is part of life but I think that the greater purpose in life is just to make a difference in whatever way you can. If you can be remembered one day for doing something really special in someone's life then I think you can be satisfied with your life. Even if it has nothing to do with religion or spirituality!

To be honest I'm not that religious kind of person too, I just love to say good things for God and share Him to others. For me you don't have to be religious to understand the goodness of God in our life. And you're right about we have to make a difference in whatever way we can, because being different is much better than being just a simple.

Yes, that's true, life sure is mysterious. No one can tell what gonna happen in the future, like in boxing you can't tell who's gonna win. And because were blind in our path in the future, God is providing us wisdom to be our light to prepare ourselves in the future.
