Hi everyone!!! I guess the right term would be I was adjusting to working at night that I always fall directly to sleep when I get home then wake up just in time not to be late for work!!! I have Saturday's and Sunday's off but I doze off this time to recuperate, I don't want anything to happen to my health...but right now, I'm feeling like okay, I already am used to it I can do myLot again!!!!! I've missed it here

It sounds like a miserable existence. I used to have a night shift job. I was young and handled it for about a year or so. I hope you are eating well and taking care of yourself. If not you might want to get you a good multi-vitamin (with not perservatives, waxes, etc. in it). Also,- FYI= there is a amino acid that you might want to take. It is called 'Llysine' and it helps to strenthen your immune system. Good to have you back on Mylot. Enjoy!

I was almost in the same situation as you, as I had my final exam at the University and I had to prepare a nice, 50 page work, and study a lot to pass it. I have managed to pass it with flying colors and now I have more time to spend here on mylot, the greatest social network there is around.

That is a hard adjustment to make and it does throw your entire system a wrench when you suddenly change the times that you need to be awake and asleep. I used to work third shift one night a week and it so tough to adjust to that. I was also homeschooling my children so I had to stay up when I first got home. Good luck to you in finding time that you can stay awake.

OOOHHH!!! I don't know if I'll stay on this job when I already have children...thankfully I don't yet have any...I've been a teacher for primary and preschool students so I would know how stressing it is to handle a child and much more in plural...and I didn't have to stay with them 24/7 as I was just the teacher...I can't imagine how it could be if your the mother, I think I can handle two but more than that I would need Divine Intervention...and all my strength to keep me going!!! Night shift would never do....

I know what you mean about being too tired to come here. I have been very pressed for time lately too and I can only get online for short periods of time and it can be very frustrating because I would love to spend a long time on MyLot like I used to! It seems that whenever I have the time to post I am too exhausted to do anything so I appreciate how you feel...

Thanks for understanding paula!!! I know what you mean! I visit myLot a lot of times before but my mind is too exhausted to give any good response so I end up just closing the discussions I've opened!!! I hope I could be here a lot now that I have adjusted...

Hi, Welcome back after the short break, I hope you are feeling good now. I worked on the Sunday also in Mylot and I am happy with that. I spent about 5 to 6 hours in here reading the discussions and posting in there. I think I responded to 50 discussions from my friends and others also. What is your average of the numbers of the discussions you participate in a day?

I feel a lot better thanks....WOW!!!! That's a lot...I used to be able to respond as much as you do and sometimes even more but it really depends if I see topics/posts that interests me, now I just make sure that I answer those that responds to my post before I try and answer my friend's posts and other myLotter's

I think we are in the same track, really busy just to here but miss it a lot. Where are you working now?. My sister is a nurse she usually got night shift twice a week and she really hate it because she usually feel so tired, even when she already sleep before go to work . I don't have deadline to catch now because I already finish my task, just waiting the next one to come so its really pleasing to come here and speak my mind. I hope you get used to new job and I hope its paying better than before. Good luck and have a nice day .
