Mahendra Singh Dhoni known for his risk taking character and attitude. this he showed in the second test when he declared his innings and invited west indies to chase a target which was well achievable.but it ended in a draw because of tail enders and climate.
the same dhoni in the third test could not motivate his team to chase a meagre total of 180 in around 47 overs.
why cant u play like a one dayer when it is needed. some how they have won T 20 world cup. why i am saying somehow because it was really somehow. 94/3 and 15 overs remaining to make remaining runs. if they were real champion they should have gone for it. making less than 90 runs in 90 balls is not a big deal
This is not the first time that they have drawn the well deserved win. they have been repeating it in almost every foreign tour. when india win the first test, they make every effort to draw the rest of the matches, so that they can win the series.
Dravid and laxman have done a lot for the team. but so much of experience in cricket world could not change their attitude of being pessimistic. these two fellows are really very
pessimistic, as soon as they came on crease i understood they will draw the match.
In comparison to this, australia, south africa are such teams which try to make every match in their favour. Steve waugh had once said that the worst thing he wants to see in test matches in draw. that's why he was more comfortable when test matches gave results. that's why they are able to win so many matches.
Team india under Dhoni and young team need to change this rubbish attitude of pessimism. if they really want to see themselves at the level of champions, they will have to be more optimistic and play to win, not for winning the series and encashing it.
Seeing the pessimistic approach of Indian team, darren gaugh had commented before world cup that england can beat india on every day of the week.
and truly it was by sheer luck they we drew the match against england in the world cup, otherwise they were successful in chasing the target beyond 300 also.
god save these people.
