please write something on my book ^^

I don't write in a book, but if I had a book with writing, unless it interferes with what I am reading, it doesn't bother me..I also love reading and if I could get shelves built in one of my walls, I could have a small library.. I also love to write and hope I can get my novel published once I get it edited.. So, what kind of books do you collect?

I probably have almost three hundred books at home, but I know people who have more than that amount. I only read a few from those books, I could not read all of them. I have some books about the ascetic and I like to read them. I also like reading novels, in fact I'm reading "Don Quixote". Sometimes I write notes on the books, but only if they are mine. When I borrow books, from the library, I'm forbidden to write notes on the books.

We actually have our own "library" in our house, which is really just a room that's dedicated solely to our books. Hubby and I both read so we've got quite a bit of books and they're overrunning everything. We're planning on building wall to wall shelves now because we have books still in boxes since we can't fit them all on the bookshelves we have now. Writing on books themselves drives me insane, though. A few books I have are French or Spanish and they're mostly used so if someone wrote notes or translations in the sides of them they don't bother me, but for most books it drives me insane when there's writing in them. Most of my books are used, though, so it's a risk you run buying used and I won't bother erasing them, but I try to get books without marks in them if possible. The things that drive me the most insane is if I get a book and it has highlighting in it. Pencil marks I can stand OK, but I really cannot stand highlighting. I never highlighted any of my textbooks even if teachers said to because I hate the way books look after they've got highlighter all over them.

Well I do have a lot of books at home, comic books to be precise. I have a lot (serious lot :D) of comic books. I have had comic books ever since i was a kid. I love comic books and still seldom buy them. i do have novels and self help books as well but not as much as I own comic books. I would love to have a room full of comic book and novels, like a small library of my own somewhere in the house.

Wow, that is a new one! I have never met someone who doesn't mind if their book is returned with doodles on them. I, for one, is different from you, when I lend a book, I would like it to be returned to me the way I lent it. No doodles, no creases or whatsoever But your idea is nice and fresh! I also have a collection of books here at home. Mostly, I collect fiction. I also love reading about biographies. Most of all, I love children books especially of Roald Dahl's
