What is this? - a doubt about PTC SITES..

Hi friends, I use ptc sites largely for my income. But in now- a -days many ptc sites claim that they have 3 year subscription , 4 year, 6 year and so on. Actually what is this mean? How far this is related to the genuineness of a given PTC SITES?

I think it is about the period of time they have made a contract with the hosts to hold their domains. With this kind of claims they hope to get many users and lots of users means lots of income for them, and so they can pay their members. I think this is what they want to tell us with this type of claims.

The subscription they usually refer to is the domain subscription. However, a domain subscription just costs an average of $10 a year so that's not saying much at all.
