What can you say about the team order to Mark Webber at the Silverstone GP?

Team orders are legal right now, but I think Mark Webber is capable of taking the position of Vettel. I guess they are of course careful not to get into trouble again like last year when Webber and Vettel ended up colliding with each other and of course the decision is for what is best for the team.

Its very sad to know that Mark Webber was told to maintain a gap to Vettel during the British GP. But if you look at the situation I think it was a good call from the Red Bull pitlane. There were just two laps to go and Webber did try to make his move on the second last lap but could not pull it off. Thats when the team decided that they need to get both the cars home safely and score good championship points rather that have both drivers take each other out and end up empty handed. Red Bull also made a mistake with Vettels stop which eventually cost him the race win. Webber fought back really well after his last pitstop and almost snached second position from his teammate. Had it been about 5 laps to go in the race I dont think we would have seen any teamorders. Webber did not get off the line well despite having pole and that was very disappointing. Vettel definately looks good to reclain his drivers championship and nobody is going to stop him..

and there is a rumor going around that Red Bull might get Kimi Raikkonen to drive alongside Vettel. I really am not sure if this is good or bad. And whose gonna be taking the role of Driver #1

Webber has not lived up to the expectations of many of his fans and also the team will like to see some better performances from him considering that Vettel is dominating the season adn they have a good car. I have never heard of the rumour that Kimi will be offered a seat alongside Vettel. I would love to see Kimi back into Formula 1 but I dont think it will happen. Raikkonen was even linked to Robert Kubica's seat at the start of the season after Robert came across the rallying accident but Kimi did not get back into Formula 1. He stayed with rallying. He definatley drivers for a Red Bull sponsored team in rallying and only time will tell if he will come back to F1. At the same time Webber is also in the midst of negociating his next years contract with Red Bull and will decide on the same in a few weeks time. Certainly he was not happy with the team orders passed on to him at the British GP and whether this will affect his contract acceptance, only time will tell..
