I am wondering is there any places for us to sell our photos that we had been taken? Sort of selling the photos to some websites or magazines? Like for the photographers, how they make their ways so that the authorities of the magazines hired him/ her as their photographer? I'm thinking of improving my photography and at the same time, hope that people can appreciate my art work.

I cannot think a site where we can directly sell our photo. But I know we can upload our photo for many stock photo. We get like 50/50 revenue. And since some of them requires a high quality photo, it can be a very good challenge.
The only bad things with stock photo is we have to be very creative and have a unique photo if we want to be very successful. But we can use it as our starting platform.
Once we are very good already, we can be a free lance photographer.

Hmm...so you think that I should start with upload the photos for one of the stock and let the people commenting? Then from their comment, we improve ourself? I see...so you said after we are good in photography we can be free lance photographer...but how? People will come and find us through the stock?

Actually when you upload at stock photo, people will buy your photo and you get the royalty. Most of the stock photo company on the net share you a 50/50 revenue. If people buy your uploaded photo for $5, you will get $2.50.
If you want people to comment on your photo and give you advice, you better join a photography forum. I saw a few of my friends doing that and they really improve their photgraphy skill.
To become a free lance photgrapher, there are a lot of ways to do it. 1 of it is bcome a photographer at wedding. I know someone, he market himself by introduce himself to all is friends and give special price for them. That is his marketing strategies.
